Phil Freddy is banned. Its more of how much damage he does with very few hits. Raiden is damage heavy but it very difficult with timing. I can do 6 hits with Freddy and get 55%
Kung has been nerfed multiple times so he isn’t as much of a heavy hitter.

That’s just bullshit. Sure Freddy can do 55% but he needs to do Xray. Which if you’re actually good with Freddy, you’ll never have because his standard combo using 1 super stock does 41%. Last time I checked, there are lots of other characters who do way more damage with only 1 stock, so saying he’s overpowered is ridiculous. Saying that Raiden is “very difficult with timing” doesn’t change the fact that he still does retarded amounts of damage; this is a tournament, so I expect that if anyone picks Raiden they’ll be pulling off the high damage combos; and he’s not banned but Freddy is?
I don’t remember Sagat being banned in SF4, but he could do 50% damage if he landed ONE Tiger Uppercut FADCed into juggle super; that’s actually easier to do than Freddy’s combos. If we’re going to ban Freddy, at least do it for the right reasons (he’s a DLC character and they should all be banned from tournament play), but saying he ALONE is overpowered and needs to be banned is a ridiculous statement. When has he even been played in tournaments to see if this is the case?
i was more for banning him because he was new and alot of ppl havent had time to adjust

I was halfway through writing a long message about how I agree with you Phil. Then I remembered Justin playing Kabal against freddy and his bnb whiffing. Freddy is known to have projectiles whiff through him as well. I planned on playing him as well 
but with the bugs its definitely not fair for tourney.
I personally dont see a big problem with his damage. His normals are all slow and outside of enhanced ground claw he doesnt start combos for free (see spin).
i don’t think Freddy should be banned, I thought the word is that DLC characters should be playable now in tournys? I don’t even use Freddy and I won’t mind facin him. I use Cage and if Freddy rapes my asshole I won’t care much I’ll just laugh
lift the ban of Freddy, so I can’t lose to him freely.
Freddy has a glitch where projectiles will go right through him.
And it is random.
Pretty sure this is why he is banned, so until netherelm fixes the problem…
