As much as I’ve been enjoying lurking the trash fire that’s been neogaf’s gaming section the last 3 days, I can’t help but feel a little bad for these people being terrified of going anywhere that won’t coddle them and assure them that they’re good people.
C is fine. The difference between SRK and GAF is that on GAF the hivemind is so pronounced that it’s like getting yelled at by one asshole. SRK is the wild west, where everyone is their own asshole. Even if a gaffer signs up, they don’t have their main weapon. You’d likely not even notice other than the sign up date. Just another asshole in GD.
I have not come across a forum with such concentrated amounts of socially retarded people in my life. If you have ever stumbled into that off-topic forum you would be able to easily identify these individuals.
No, it’s when they start quoting the forum rules to mods and insinuate if they’re really strict enough. Believe me, I started seeing it happen as soon as Day 0 on the EZA forums.
I’m fairly left, but their off topic forum makes me feel like Newt Gringrich in comparison. You really can tell that all their world views have been fed to them by tumblr extremists and sociology professors. Almost nothing they took as gospel correlated or functioned with real life.
