Atomiswave emulation? Hokuto No Ken emulated

Which is what I said. I’m talking about titles that have already gotten ports (good ports), like Hokuto No Ken (seems to be the title everyone is talking about).

Maybe you misunderstood, most of these emulators make the game look better than the arcade or console version. Not yet true for HnK, but its one reason.

i recently heard about this… so hokuto no ken. what game is next neogeo battle collesium? anyway i got the game for ps2… so not worried. you probably need a ballin comp to run that crap anyway

Been playing Hnk on demul for some days now, its made of awesome and win. Im on a laptop intel centrino, geforce 9300m!

Its all about the specs themselves than how good it is JuNo.
I have a great ATI graphics card, but by going by my RAM, I can barely play a MMO from 2006 at top quality.

im running this on a
athalon xp 64 3300+ 2.4 ghz
2 gigs of ram
ati radeon x1900

windowed mode is like 90-95% speed
and full screen mode is 100% speed no slowdown anywhere

sound is still a little fucked at times
and the only graphical glitch i see is the timer

I get major glitches with the sprites. They’re alright standing still but when they move they go crazy. The inputs are weird too, but then again Naomi games on Demul suffered from that too. Perhaps it’s a vista issue?

Try lowering resolution to something under 1024x768, that solved the sprite issue for me.
As for inputs, I only get weird inputs with Demul in Naomi (one press is like a million presses, totally screws up Senko no Ronde because you can’t dash, just do one million tiny shieldings in a row… And NullDC doesn’t have 2p controls, so I’m screwed on the mp Senko).

Edit: Resolution in the emu video options, not your desktop of course

The sprites are translucent. Most evident on Mr. Heart.

my thing runs fine on vista. its 64-bit vista too.

what do you mean by “weird inputs?” like dropped inputs or something else?

also kinda off topic but whatever i figure i can get an answer in here

is there anything good emulated on naomi atm?

I’ve left the resolution on 640x480 windowed, the default, so I don’t have it too high. The sprites are really garbled when moving, and even when standing still occasionally. What I mean by weird inputs is that not only is there serious input lag but the game also does entirely different animations when I try something. It seems to “store” inputs as well. Like, if I hold my stick (using a Hori EX2) in the up/left position for like a second my character does no less than 4 jumps despite the stick being in neutral. Even then, before it even DOES the jump my character’s sprite will spazz out for a second before jumping. This happens with attack buttons as well.

Senko no Ronde New is awesome.
That Jingi Storm fighter, but it kinda sucks.

I’m guessing my laptop just sucks considering I got create pbuffer failed

pbuffer error!!!

yeah it figures its the integrated graphics card… curseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you intel!!! and yo mothefucking integrated graphic card:annoy::annoy::annoy::annoy::annoy::annoy::annoy::grrr:

I’m running on a 64 bit vista two, and everything runs smoothly. I’m loving the naomi emulator.

I wanted to say for the record that the PS2 port of HnK is not arcade perfect. I would rather play the arcade version anyways over console versions.

Crashes after the “don’t use outside Japan” screen. Been trying every setting I can tweak to no avail. No pbuffer message, it just dies. Sometimes I get the first syllable of HO and maybe a guitar riff.

Core Duo T7200 2ghz
2 GB RAM
NVidia GeForce Go 7900 GS 256MB RAM

maybe you guys have a bad rom file?

oh godddd rumblefish 2 goddddamn godddamnnn

i would like to play Dolphin Blue… Nobody else like this title ?
