Me facing strong people first round of the tournament isn’t a matter of opinion, it’s fact. Jason L was my first match and he got top 3. My second match was Electricity, and he got top 10. The placings at least at that level would indicate that they are strong players overall. Also at Waba, my first match was Metal Mike who got second that very tournament. The next tournament my first match was Jason L, who got 1st that tournament. So yeah, I’m always facing top placers first in the tournament. While other people have it easy since their first matches are always against a slew of random players and flowchart Kens. I never have faced a flowchart Ken caliber player in a tournament.
Wtf all the waba tournaments you’ve attend has alwways been small, you’ve never been to one OVER 17 people.
Electric was NOT GOOD but feel free to think so and if he thinks so I would love to money match him and settle the score, I was sitting there along with Jason L coaching him on his matchup, explaining to him the difference on his jump in’s etc etc, YOU SHOULD HAVE DEFEATED HIM… you just do not compete well.
BESIDES…
How do you expect to WIN when you yourself said you do not have the game nor do you train in the game in order for you to be a formidable opponent??
Why are complaining and bringing negative attention to this and EVERY TOURNAMENT you attend when you NEVER come to the battle field with your powers at the ready (or lack there of) Your not even half cocked.
Real talk you do not train in the game, you do not know matchups or character specifics sooooo how do you expect to win, off what knowledge do you expect to use in order to do anything besides finish 0-2 every tournament you attend??
At a tournament, when you seed people you seed the top players against the bottom players. You can’t seed top players against each other in the first round. That would make an awful semi-finals. Lastly, the bracket program generated the results with you at the bottom. I didn’t edit it or anything.
There’s a reason why good players get “byes” or don’t play strong people at the beginning. It’s because they’ve earned their right to. You can’t put the top two people against each other at the beginning. We’re not saying that the top players get it easy. But those top players have proven in the past that they deserve a “bye” or an easier bracket. Unknown players could be better and defeat the seeded players but until they prove a name for themselves they don’t get seeded in that manner.
Electricity is decent at least. He know a little about what he’s doing. Maybe he isn’t awesome, but he’s not some random player who has no idea what he is doing. Plus outside of maybe Wanton X, I have never played against a Blanka before. And Wanto X really isn’t great experience, since he admitted himself, that he generally plays unsafe during tournaments. Electricity plays Blanka totally different. and overall I don’t know my options in the matchup. So poor matchup knowledge, plus a decent player equals loss for the Minister.

Well I guess the solution is easy, just beat Jason L, since I’m always his first match. Honestly. I didn’t get raped by him like I did when I faced him at Waba. So I think I’m playing him better. Sorry, I sound like a spoiled sport, but I do feel that there have been a lot of concerted efforts to embarass me. But I hardly got raped in any of my matches. and I did have to make people work for the round. So I didn’t make it easy operation for anyone. I’ll just come back better next month. Oh and thanks for running such a nice tournament. I understand that renting rooms at GWCC is very expensive, but seriously we need a bigger room. But I can understand if you don’t, because money don’t grow on trees
Ok then so what you are saying is it doesn’t matter if you face a “G” or a “SCRUB” no matter what due to lack of game knowledge, matchup knowledge, you would LOSE 10 times out of 10 so once gain the question I ask you…
WHY IN THE BLUE HELL ARE YOU COMPLAINING??? :annoy:
Yes the fuck you did bro’ he ran threw you like did almost any and EVERY cross over he wanted to you, set you IN THE CORNER and opened the tournament with the DOOOOOOOOOOOOOON combo wtf…
I’m watching the match right now lmao
Man random MvC2 was off the chain. Skitz you are too beasty with low tiers dog, even in random lol. Did you run low tiers in the tourney?
Money match it is coach.
Pfffft LMAO 1st too 5 for $50.00
I went 1-2 and Iceman put me out. You play a mean Blanka dude!
Much respect dude, I appreciate the complement as well :lovin:
Edit-WTF Metalmike’s hero lmao
I’m already hype!
Dru man you had JTO in the E.Honda & Balrog matchup bro’ patience man patience, real talk you were that much closer to the money yo
Hahaha! I was the designated stick loaner for Mike and Electric1ty. Now my Tekken 5 stick actually has tournament history!
Mike called me his hero and then did some sort of motion like we were gonna thumb wrestle…I got confused…
Yea, JTO’s style of play is insanely defensive and patient! Its so crazy! and yeah, I sometimes tend to lose my patience in matches and start to rush down! Its all good tho, JTO saw past my tricks and played the better game!
I’ll second that for Iceman.
Too Much fuckin’ Damage.
no your not shut the fuck up,gs ed.
ggs to everyone I played. Had fun. Dru, I want to get some casuals with you next time.
Yeah man definitely! I dont know why I didn’t get any in on Saturday, but next time I def wanna get some in with you and the rest of the ATL crew, especially Jason because I haven’t even played with him yet
Revival was fun
Thanks Magnicious, Pokchop and Iceman for the tourney. It was a really fun time. Its publicly known that I have not exactly been fans of the ATL tourneys like impact clash 2 and 4, but I really enjoyed this, my wife enjoyed it, and though it was “hype”. So big ups to that first and foremost.
I enjoyed playing the cats from Augusta. Good shit Jay on winning, you definitely deserved it man. You got a lot better in terms of match ups in the past 2 weeks.
Electricity I had fun in our matches, I’m sure you’ll learn the match up from your experience and I look forward to playing you again
Coos Coos man you are a fun guy man and it was nice playing you in tourney. No matter how much you nice talk, you put some real pressure on me man, your execution is good and your really good at picking your points. A bit more knowledge on the matchup and your pressure might make me buckle net time in tourney man. With your execution ability no matchup is free against you, believe that.
Dru and Dreamboat, didn’t get to play you guys but glad you guys came out. Dru I haven’t played you at all! I definitely wanna get in a few next time we are together man.
Raph thanks for the good games man your always solid. I’m sure we will play yet again at the next tourney we are together at so til than man stay solid.
Zo man it was fun playing you in SC again man. Hope we can play SF again soon maybe next time I come to Bama.
