Now that I got my XI team down (Gato/Ash/Iori)
I need to work on my NGBC team. I’m liking how Iori and Hotaru look on paper (since I haven’t played the game in like a 6 or so months it’ll be like learning the game all over again) but I don’t know if they would work together.
I’m not going to drop Iori though. DG said awhile back to use Mr.Big, any other options? Or just go with Iori/Big(or Hotaru)?

SH- I’d say learn all the top tier. This helps you learn how to fight against them, thus learn how to play and fight against Kim also. Learn as many characters as possible.
In like every fighting game I learn EVERY CHARACTER…this helps me know what they can and cannot do…so while you may not need to learn every character the more you know the better prepared you are for the biggest problem of lack of competition-

SH, IMO XI it would be ideal to learn Kula, very basic yet very effective.
If by any chance learning Shermie in any game (that of course includes NGBC), holla. Be sure to read and search through the Other Games section, it helps at times.

Iori/Hotaru sounds fine, really. No need to drop Iori: unlike XI Iori, he’s still pretty good.
Hotaru is built to rape like 80% of the cast for free

He’s decent at best, but not too solid enough to stand up against the Bigguns to tell you the truth. He’s like D Class. Maybe C at best.
