I quit playing Coliseum because the game didn’t appeal to me anymore, I had no real desire to be the best in it (too busy playing GG, sorta like you trying to grab titles in random games cuz you can’t really hang in the main shit). And the funny thing is, I’m still just as good as I’ve ever been at the game, Alex actually thinks I play better when I don’t play Coliseum for a long period of time. Coliseum is not a hard game to understand that requires a constant vigilance to stay good.
You on the other hand, you wanna be the best, but there is no hope for you. Shit, you say the old tournaments are in the past? I’m sure that NEC was “in the past” when Final Round came around, but you still got your ass beat.

I played Joey all of one time, by then I had already decided I wasn’t gonna play Coliseum seriously anymore (note how I didn’t enter the tournament at Final Round). And of course, there’s the matter of Joey being a better player than you, which I’ve already said. Note that during this time, I could still hang with Triad, despite having basically stopped playing Coliseum.
Of course, the matter at hand is whether or not I’m better than you. I placed higher than you at NEC in both Coliseum and XI, actually putting your ass out in XI. Granted, that’s “in the past”, but I like I said, I can still hang with the guys who basically beat the shit out of you, without really playing. So yeah, I think I’m better than you. And come NEC, I am quite willing to prove it. Get your gimmicks ready and hide up as much shit as you can, because you’re gonna need all of it just to avoid getting totalled.
