I figured it out but thanks for responding. Now to practice up with my team of kings and maybe try and get my friend into playing KOF for real (he plays NeoWave alot) and maybe even send him here.
I just wonder, is there a fighter you don’t like Geese? I just marvel you play so many games, lol. I mean I play a lot, but I’m just messing around in most of them, only a few I “know” how to play.
I love playing Lynn casually…but if its a tournament…I gotta go with Alice/Pepe…
I love how Lynn plays in the PIM system vs. the ROTD system…she plays a lot better in the PIM system…have you guys noticed that? She can do some Iori like crossover madness in the PIM NeoGeo game but that aint in the PS2 version…because the ROTD characters aint in there…
Overworld- I can play just about everything. I try to be as open as possible because that is the mindset I want to model for people…how can I expect them to be open to my message if I aint open 2 theirs? I look at it like we are all ONE BIG FAMILY…a family that can either die…or rise above water…I am trying to get us sailing above water so I will support whatever I can…be it CFJ, 3s, CVS2, Tekken, whatever…MBAC, GG (I did enter abhi’s team at EVO, me and Josh though I hadnt even gotten the game IN YET!!)
I do understand how some people can only play a certain amount of games though…I remember Rev of Soul Calibur 2…he was the best in Texas at the time…but he could not multi-task for games…I understand that perfectly…
For me once you get at “the level of understanding” then everything is the same…all that changes is the system…2d fighters (or 3d even) are all gonna have the same FUNDAMENTALS…the only thing that changes the game is the system.
***Those that have the best fundamentals and grasp of the system + experience are your top players of that game!
If you look across the board though you’ll find that a top player in one game is probably a top player in another because of these very reasons I said.
ENCODER ALERT- I am dropping the videos with my local encoder today so stay tuned!!!
Theres a code to unlock all the ROTD characters. Check gamefaqs.com under Rage of the Dragons it has that code to unlock the characters.
By Iori Like Madness I mean beyond the typical Iori crossover stuff…I mean like she can air combo INTO IT (The backwards Crossover) also…
It’s funny because even Alices Partner in ROTD (forgot his name) plays better in the PIM system than in the ROTD game itself. I wonder what the tiers are in the NeoGeo game WITH the ROTD characters?
Alice’s infinite for one I’m gonna cut it off /limit it to 3 reps max…then you gotta finish the combo…if not her infinite is TOO damn easy…that is unless you all feel I should allow the Alice infinite??
Yeah now there are some sickeningly broken tag combos also that remind me why Kang is better than Alice…meaning technically the best team in the game (my backup) is Alice-Kang.
Kang needs any other partner and he can do a 100% Death Tag combo…its nasty…
If it wasnt for that then Alice would be #1 in the tiers…but Kang is #1 because of that. The “Touch of Death.” Lynn’s infinite in ROTD aint the easist thing to do in a match though. So thats one of those things that’s allowable…its probably not gonna happen in a match.
Adelheid’s anti airs are standing E and B genocide cutter. Use them (with proper spacing of course) and make sure he doesn’t get in a position where he can j.C freely.
For Eiji, try playing keepaway with ki blasts, watch for jump-in/crossup attempts and you should be able to teleport under him if you time them right (his jump is slow as balls). If he hops, just outprioritize him or throw out his projectile super. Once you get him grounded, rush his shit down.
I’ll let someone else take care of Duck strats; I have no clue how to play him.
If anything, the universal system options should be more than enough to deal with j.C (E counter, shifts, counter roll, etc).
IIRC it can beat it (E moves generally have pretty ridiculous priority as opposed to most normals), but it’s been a while since I’ve played so I may be incorrect.
Guessing that Adel’s jump E though can be beat by Maxima’s jump A, which is my preferred air-to-air out of habit. Assuming Adel’s jump E similar to his Daddy’s…
lol, just kidding. In all seriousness, there will be no bullshit in this thread on my watch lol. DG does a good job of keeping shit in check, but ill be peeping in here from time to time for sure with the mod assist if necessary. :china:
