I can’t help but wonder why they would choose to say that and how fucked up it would be if they we’re actually lying as part of a plan to raise suspicion against the wrong group (although it could also be the truth… I just think it’s incredibly stupid to say it).
One of the shitty things about this situation is unless you have boastful terrorist who basically snitch on themselves, instead of killing them all, it would be ideal to capture some alive and get information out of them because the police/military would want to increase their chances of eliminating and preventing future threats. In addition to increasing the protection, they have to find all the stragglers, so that they can’t keep coordinating attacks. This shit was too well planned.

I just can’t think of anything to say, apart of me wants to go all rage and start mouthing off against militant islam (if it is certain this is another militant Islam attack), other parts of me wants to say that all those people should of fought back because of going to killed anyway… but i can’t really say it with out actually meaning it. Have you seen the Concert Hall? Kind of impossible to take down someone holding on a gun. Even if it was just two people with weapons, they can easily hold in many hostages within that place. Let’s be realistic here, c’mon.

Stopping the Syrian refugees from coming into Europe would be awful. For one, we don’t know if these culprits came from that. On top of that, the refugees are also fleeing shit like this that happens in their home country every day. We would be assholes to turn them back now.

I get the response and more or less agree but just playing devils advocate the biggest problem of all is almost all of the people fleeing Syria have absolutely zero paperwork. Thus it makes it pretty difficult to filter the kinds of people coming into these new countries.
Watching the news, it was said that there have been little incidents with refugees. Turning back thousands upon thousands of legit refugees for the actions of a few terrorists would be awful.
The attackers are not Syrians; they are most likely North Africans Maghreb Arabs. France has a large Algerian and Tunis diaspora.
I’m not religious, but I do believe in a god. In my mind, it’s largely ambivalent. I can’t fathom anyone truly believing their creator would approve of taking the lives of so many innocent people.

It’s not like they just walk in. They have to go through a process and are then monitored and all that shit. Still, a few awful may make it through sure but you’re going to prevent tens of thousands for the acts of a few? Even if you do it, you will still not halt terrorists from coming into the country.
