Ask me something

lp dp, xx fk scissors to corner cc

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…

…

okay, nestor told me this at TS5 when i was bitching about how hard the AA CC with bison was to do consistently. he looked at me and simply said…

crouch before you activate.

BINGO. that way, it’s really deep, and you stand up with invulnerability to do the close standing strong, lp dp, then you can either do RH scissors etc, OR after the lp dp, do a standing rh then scissors. experiment with the timing and on different characters so you see what works best.

the other really important thing is to make sure you’re doing the close standing strong into lp dp FAST. the faster the better, but make sure each part is distinct enough to register as inputs.

…

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…

good shit ppb

so when they’re jump-attacking me

i crouch down-activate-rise st. mp?

fuck rolento, i’m using bison…

basically, yes.

since you’re playing bison, you should probably be crouching a lot anyways to keep your charge unless you’re playing footsies.

if you’re walking back and forth, and somebody jumps at you, your first response without a charge should be to crouch and press fierce for AA (unless you can jump strong x2 quickly enough). if you have meter, you can do the AA CC, and you’ll already be in the crouching position. CHING xx death.

^ching! it works!!

now, anyone mind telling me vs who does bisons crouching fierce not AA?

at worst, you’ll trade. i’m sure you could training mode and figure some exception, but in general, bison’s cr fierce is money.

okay, i’m confused.

after anti air ā€œCHING!!ā€, are scissor kicks to the corner, the fastest/most damaging option that bison can do?

yes. at max(close to corner) it does about 9000 damage if you et all hits in.

close: CC, s.mp, lp dp, mk sciccors, PTF sequence.

Mid: CC, s.mk, lp dp, mk sciccors xn, ptf sequence.

this is the way i do it. fuck the s.hk inbetween, i figured you get less damage that way.

K I don’t now if Buk stops by here anymore but to anyone who knows what they’re talking about;

I need help getting people to block my Rock close s.lk so that they can eat my laser traps. I don’t think that it helps that my Kyo leads so they find out how much I like to tick throw ppl who block. As it is by the time they get to Rock they’ve learnt to mash out of it way to easily. I do the intelligent thing and begin to run counter hit games. Those counter hit games (whilst for a very short time are beneficial) far too often end with me eating random super.

Now I know the way to solve this is to have something to combo after the s.lk, I just don’t know what that thing is. Kyo’s low short > throw game works so well because he has his low short > c.mp > rekkas to mix it up with. My Rock doesn’t have anything garunteed like that off his close s.lk though . At current I’m doing s.lk (or c.lk) followed by c.mk xx lp elbow. The inconsistency this comes out at though (even on days when I’m running it at 90%+) in conjunction with the average damage it does (even on hit) doesn’t seem to work though. People would much rather risk eating it than getting evac’d all day.

Now really good players who I acknowledge the skill of eat Otaku’s shit so they fear something. I never ever see the other side of that mixup though, only the evac stem. So yeh if someone has some super secret combo they like to use I’d really like to hear it :xeye:.

After the close s.LK:

I have no clue what I’m talking about, but have you tried Rock’s counter hit d.LK, d.HK? Also walk forward one pixel, counter hit d.LK, d.LK, (hit confirm) d.MK xx Deadly Rave. You can also do just one d.LK, then d.MK xx Deadly Rave so you don’t have to walk forward, but d.MK at that range isn’t safe, so commit to the super if you know you’re playing against a good player. Sagat or Guile can do their instant supers for free whenever you stop at d.MK, and a lot of good players know that so use d.LK, d.MK string at your discretion. You have K-groove anyway, so it’s ok to just burn your meter on the Deadly Rave to be safe.

I hate using Rock because I always get his qcb+LK move by accident instead of d.LK, d.MK link. I never get that problem with Geese because he doesn’t have a qcb+LP or qcb+LK move thank goodness. He also gets bigger frame advantage on all his moves too so if you’re having Rock issues, then use Geese.

It’s not necessary to always use close s.LK either. Just because OTK uses it doesn’t mean it’s the best move. Close s.LK timed meaty is good (close s.LK timed non-meaty only gives +2), but d.LK is just as good if not better. It gives +6 and gives you the option to easily combo after if you so wish.

Learn d.LK, 360+P. Also meaty d.LK, link d.HK. Against shoto sized characters and fatter, learn meaty d.LK, close s.LK, 360+P.

ok,RC’s

what i’d like to know is how do i RC LK’s or LP’s?

say bisons LK scissor’s kick. ryu/kens LK hurricane.

What’s A-sagat’s cons compared to his other grooves anyways?

Mostly, lack of damage besides CC.
Not too many good CC setups.

k, there’s no way i’m going to get to that whole backlog of questions

if you want still want one of those questions answered, repost em up

Which restaurants in LA and TX has the best PHO.

Ryu’s RC hurrican is free since he has no qcb move but it, so just singe tap it
Bison RC lk scisor you have to hold down lp while you release LK of the roll. Kinda hard at first.

@ Kcxj -
Like I said I try to run counter hit games off it but more often than not I eat random Tiger Raid T_T.
