New Evil Dead stories starring Bruce Campbell and directed by Sam Raimi. I never thought I’d see it but I’m really glad that this exists.
Really enjoyed this first episode, but it’s the only one that was directed by Raimi, I wanna see how the rest of the season fares.

Its so good. A great balance between the camp of the sequels and the genuine creepiness of the original. And of course watching Bruce Campbell chew the ever-loving FUCK out of the scenery provides limitless entertainment.

Whatever, THIS EPISODE WAS FLAMES. This show is sooo good. I have so much fun watching it. This was clearly missing in my tv show rotation. The blend of creepiness mixed with comedic levels of violence, where im swinging my beer around while rooting for ash.
To think those crazy movies i saw growing up would one day become cult classics, leading to this tv show. Amen brothers.
Show is great so far. I hope the home video release has a super-cut\marathon feature. 30 mins an episode feels so short.
My only main gripe with the show is the obvious use of cgi in certain parts. It’ll usually be something silly like a mixture of practical and cgi blood spraying everywhere in the same shot which creates a huge contrast in the blood. Also. Cgi white out on the eyes. What happened to contacts? Unless they did wear contacts and then spruce them up in post or something.
Shows low budget im sure, but in a way for the older fans its kinda nostalgia. There is a beauty in its uncleanliness (in reference to the cgi). Its a part of the comedic value of it in a way also. Like how people enjoyed sharknado for the complete ridiculousness of it all.
I liked seeing a new demon this episode, and the shows great overall. I’m sure lucy l is gonna show up last minute and save my black wifu from da demon. I’m sorry, but her boobs are so fucking perfect, and her lips. God blessed the man who locked that down.

I don’t see how there’s a nostalgic beauty in the bad cgi when the movies had no cgi whatsoever,but ok. Lol.
Been enjoying the ride so far, only real issue is I wish it were an hr long rather than half hour weekly.
Season 2 already confirmed so here’s hoping that gets expanded.
So far the series is quality. As previously stated, I do wish the episodes were slightly longer, but I can like with 25 minute increments.
Finally got through the first four episodes some weeks back. Man, i could not stop saying buena buena medicina for days lol. Waiting for the rest of the episodes to hit the service i watch it from.
