hahaha nice…well i’ll rep u when I get a chance…having problems with my paypal…some mofo tried to transfer 300 to my paypal and probably withdraw it out.

Oh man, running on another 3hrs of sleep. Had to get the site back online and tackle job-related work back home… A bit zombified at the moment so I’ll try to answer quick questions.

Thanks man. But may I ask what material are you printing on that you want me to help you cut? I cannot cut Vinyl, just FYI due to the cholrine it emits when laser cutting.

I have the 911 font that is similar to the original template, and it’s what Mivlives uses for his templates for “Arcade Fightstick…”. There’s strict mention that the font cannot be used for “commercial” purposes so I can’t broadcast it as a font option. But I can sneak it in. You’ll just have to enter into the Production Notes in the cart section and let me know that’s what you want, after choosing the “under turbo” etching option.

I’m also behind on adding new Countries on my list, but I’m hoping to do it in the next couple of days. However, unless you tell me which country you’re from, there’s really no way I can guess =P.

We’re still aiming for the 7 - 12 day mark, depending on the complexity of your order.

Have you tried applying them in the HRAP PSD templates to see how it may turn out?

First check your Paypal transaction to see if shipping info is added. If not then do you have an order number I can reference? There are quite a few Troy’s spread over 1,000 orders =P

One person told me he got his stick artwork signed by Yoshinori Ono, Seth Killian, Justin W. and Daigo. As a collector and one who appreciates sentiment in the things I like, I personally thought that was pretty damn awesome.

It’s really the perspective of value. Daigo is considered the all-star in the fighting game community. In essence, he’s just like a sports star (someone who is great at what he does and is celebrated). But the gaming world’s popularity definitely doesn’t par with sports to be as publicly celebrated. Nonetheless, the ideology is similar.

However, I do agree that just dropping a post that mentions a sig without any depth of a story or significant relativity to the topic does make one go… Huh?

Anyhoo, damn the neg repper! I tried repping you guys but apparently I need to “spread the rep” before I can do so again… =P.

There’s mention of that in the plexi-care email that I send along with saying your items were shipped. However, I’ve been behind on sending that email for about a week. So those plexi-care tips are now on my website in the “ABOUT” section.

Lol, I loved that Wayne Brady skit. I’m a big fan of WB, particularly when he was on “Who’s line is it”. Incredibly talented dude.

Ok… I’ve just about used up all that’s left of my brain… back to writing code =P

Yeah, I’m not trying to dis daigo or anything, I think he’s an amazing player and I agree that depending on what your interests are he’s just as interesting as a sports player etc. My post about sports players was more just to say that me personally, I don’t care about anyone’s signature, even a sports star- except for the fact that with sports starts at least it’s worth something. I totally respect all these peoples talents, I just don’t personally get the significance in having their name written down on something, haha. But yeah- that’s just me. I got no problem with people who enjoy having gamers/athletes sigs or whatever, just thought that post came off as like a little kid bragging or something, haha. Totally out of nowhere

hey guys i have not seen this, or else im blind, but what are the demensions for the Tournament Edition Stick for Plexiglass. All i have seen is the dimensions for artwork but not plexiglass can anyone tell me plz…

I have all five pieces of Exodia.

Haha just kidding, I have no idea how to play YuGiOh and know next to nothing about it

Hey Art!
Before setting up an order, I was curious which of the JLF Dust covers (regular/no shaft cover) would better suit my Siemitsu LS-32 Joystick (mind you that LS-32’s don’t have shaft covers)? thanks

I am thinking the JLF - no shaft dust cover is better suited when visually comparing between the JLF and LS-32 (but let me know anyways)

OR if anyone who reads this knows the answer, just post it up here! =]

Yeah, I still can’t really get the idea clearly. It seems to leave some black on display on the otherside of the border, but I dont think its too bad since the arcade stick itself is black too. But somehow again I feel that without the borders it might look cleaner.

Hey looks like you have the same problem I had at one point in trying to make the hrap template. Change your mode to RGB. IIRC thats why the buttons are glowing way too brightly and the red for the D button looks so orange. Oh, and I think it might look better without the border on the Hrap. Either that or I may make a different kind of border for it sometime when I get bored.

Actually, I think I kinda solved it. Just made the leftover black border all white. And the colors are a bit off cos of the template I used, the D button was orange like that, I tried to fix the over brightly glowing with making one of the layers a bit darker. Its still a bit bright tho, I’m awful with photoshop and image manipulation in all regards so…

Nah dude trust me just go to image>mode>RGB color and it should look better. Im the one who actually made this template if you didnt know. I just converted my original for the HRAP (although without borders). If you’d like I can upload the PSD.

Maybe my photoshop aint working right or something else is a miss, for when I change the mode to RGB, nothing happens. It stays as bright as always. If the template is somehow messed up, I would appreciate the PSD.

Yeah I dont remember exactly how i fixed it, maybe I changed it to RGB BEFORE I copied the layers over or something… Oh well, heres the PSD. Good luck.

Art has outdone himself. Finally got everything done - was waiting on parts. Can be seen here http://gallery.me.com/naughty_zeut#100005&bgcolor=black&view=grid (excuse the reflections of me with my tripod in some of the pics. Those plexis are super shiny!)

The full cast (credit to MIVLives) was cut by Art, and I cut the other art myself.

These are super nice and well done. Thanks Art!

Thank you very much! I think I got it down quite good now, I have a version without the “grill” fill pattern and one with it. Without the pattern the art is seen better, but it misses some effects that the fill might apply (buttons, letters). I also have one with the huge BlazBlue logo behind the fill pattern, that looks nice too. PS. the colors are a bit off in these screenshots, I saved them with paint and with very poor jpg quality. ^^’

i do have photoshop and i have art’s te template my thing is i dont know how to put the art in the background layer of art’s template?
any help is appriecated

Not sure how other people do it, but I do it like this: First, open the picture/art you want, then open the art’s template. Take your picture tab and click Select -> All then Edit -> Copy. After that, go to art’s template and click the “Insert artwork here” layer, Edit -> Paste. Align the picture as instructed in the template. It helps to have a big image so you dont need to resize it.

If you want to make your image bigger, take the image to photoshop and click Image -> Image Size, from the dropdown menu, take the Bicubic Smoother option. Make sure the “constrain proportions” is checked. Resize as you see fit, may take couple of tries to get what you want.

Hey Art I got a couple of questions

Will you be providing a custom etching service for the dustwashers in the future? I know you already have the arrowed dustwashers, just wondering if you’ll go farther with it.

Also is it possible to have the artwork on the dustwashers smaller than the dustwasher itself?
cause I have an idea to try that with something like this

the white part would be clear so you can see through it partially and still have some artwork, just thought it’d be a cool idea if it will work.

Continue the great work man!
I’m planning on ordering one of those extended HRAP covers when its out (been wanting those since the TE extended came out) and couple dustwashers with it

Wassup Art, Just wondering how is it going? I sent you an email. From the looks of this thread I can see you are insanely busy in addition to work day job. I don’t know how you do it dude.
If I were you, I’d take one FULL day off to just relax and breathe a little…

I ordered my clear acrylic dustwasher this morning. Hope I can get it soon!

thanks zippi i figured it out wit your help and the pic looks great
