LOL, well never said it was a bad thing :stuck_out_tongue: Anyways, thanks for the compliment!

Forgive me for asking a question that I’m sure has been asked before (but I can’t find the answer to), but I’m very interested in getting some artwork for my TE stick so here it is:

If I don’t have Photoshop, do I just e-mail the raw image to Art and leave it up to his creativity, or are there templates for programs other than Photoshop that I might be able to use?

I’d really like to get an idea of how it would look before I order. I’m afraid an image could look stretched out, or the button holes could wind up somewhere that ruins the artwork for me. It’s not that I don’t trust Mr. Art, but I just want to be sure it turns out great. Any ideas?

One other kind of related question, is there like a cheap/barebones version of Photoshop they sell? I always thought PS was like a $500 program, but it seems like a lot of people have it, so I figure either there is a budget version out there, or people are pirating it or something.

There’s either GIMP or Paint.NET if you want a free pic manipulation program. GIMP can open and save to Photoshop format for free while Paint.NET needs a plugin, though.

omg… just amazing… definatly in for one.

Thanks so much:tup:
I actually just started using GIMP, and I had no idea it could open & save photoshop files.

Well I just got the plexi but one of em got damaged so ill post up my sexyness i guess lol

I couldnt find it on the site or in the First Post, but what are the dimensions required for art in a ā€œfullā€ size TE cut? I apologize if I missed something obvious.

IF you have photoshop, go to Arts website and get whatever template you need. Open it up, insert artwork, save, compress into a rar or zip file, then send it in after you have ordered the print/cut service.

Ordered my art and plexiglass on the 8th or so and it got to my pad around the 13th so i can insert everything just in time for evo. Everyone looks great and i love how my stick looks now. Ill post pics of it when i can.

thanks art ! awesome work !

Just got my Seimitsu buttons and ball top all the way from Japan thanks to my lovely girlfriend who was there visiting her folks. Here’s my latest TE stick with the buttons installed and awesome plexi from Art.

that looks awesome

Amazing how far you’ve come since my first purchase Art!

Question for you: any idea if the faded mirror images on this would cause a problem for a full etching? If so, what about if I etched just the main/center image and did a color background of the two mirrors?

can you use regular paper instead of thick cardstock with extended or full size plexiglass cover? the regular size one won’t be a problem obviously since the paper will lay on top of the metal plate, I’m not sure if it works well with extended or full sized. thanks.

Good ta hear from you again!

It’s hard to tell right off the top. We’ll need to greyscale it to see how the contrast turns out. It’s one of those things that we won’t truly know until a test etch is made.

It really depends on what kind of effect you’re going for to understand how we want to mix it up. We can play around with that later =)

I’m not too sure I understand the purpose of choosing regular paper for this case? For extended and full you actually want a cardstock to even out the spacing between the plexi and metal panel.

Another drawback to plain paper is that it’s a lot easier to wrinkle when handling, so you could have visible creases.

I can print it on regular paper if you really want, but I’m just seeing if you have a specific purpose for it.

Thanks, that’s what I figured. Of course card stock is preferred, but since I have a colour laser printer, printing out on regular paper is basically free without having to purchase cardstock.

Oh ok, I thought the question was directed to me, asking if ā€œIā€ can use/print on regular paper for you. But if it’s a matter of you printing yourself, it’s all up to you =).

Art, one thing I noticed about the dust covers, and would love to see…

Any chance you will be able to include the option have these cut for Seimitsu LS-32’s in the near future? I would jump on buying several of these if this becomes an option.
