@ ESCOBEN : It was in a warm room with the light on, even though it wasn’t directly under the ceiling light, and I didn’t notice warpage, until I was putting on the screws. Guessing the combination of ceiling light and warm temperature caused warping and a small, but noticeable, crack in the plexi.

ok ill keep a eye on it. its not having to buy the plexi i hate its the waiting 11 days then 2 for it to ship 11 miles down the road lol

I’m afraid not anytime soon if at all. Mainly because the feet of the HRAP can’t be removed and reapplied easily. I’ve considered it before but if I make it with the feet holes, the screws will protrude past the feet. I haven’t really thought of a potential solution for that yet =(.

Sadly, my Full-Plexi cracked around the Turbo Panel due to the adverse weather that we are having in Sacramento, so I’m going to buy another one from you Art… I took really good care of it, but I just had to leave it just for an hour in a warm room during the night… TT__TT

I have a HRAP V3 SA and it doesn’t seem to have any screws on top. Any chance of getting plexi on that?

I have one myself to experiment with later on. It’s on my “to-do” list but it’ll be some time before I get to it.

really? i keep both my sticks in my game room upstairs and it gets really hot in there, i keep them in drawers tho so maybe that helps. im gonna keep them downstairs from now on just to be safe tho.

Make sure to read my site’s info on plexi care. It mentions about the heat, amongst other important care tips for plexiglass (acrylic).

I’ve made a separate thread for them so that all related questions can be addressed there rather than potentially flood this thread for those looking specifically for plexi covers.

Thanks for the help, surprised I made that mistake cause I usually read pretty carefully but as you said simple mistakes are pretty easy to make lol. Uploading the artwork now, I’m a big fan of your work especially because when I calculated the costs it can be cheaper to just get a TE and put the plexi on it vs do it yourself though generally I think people make custom sticks for other reasons anyway. Thanks again!
