Looking at maybe using one of the panel builder / TE Full plexi replacements for the top of a custom stick. Any reason not to?

Anyone know exactly what size it is? From the template, it looks like about 180mm x 280mm

You want a Hori SCV plexi but you want it to extend to the edge of the top? If so, I would email him.

Any tips on getting the plexi to sit totally flat. On both my TE and my Kai they tend to bow a little between the screws.

Try not to tighten the screws so tight. Had the same problem on my old Pro. tighten them snug( barely over hand tight) and the bow should ease.

If you haven’t already done so, use a star tightening pattern to even preload distribution. Also consider that the plexi should be fastened at room temperature if you’re the type that likes to work outside.

I got a Plexi in 2011 for a Mad Catz TE Round 1, but it’s not flush with the bezel. The info I have on that order is:

If I got a 1/32" acrylic, would that be flush with the bezel? It’s not a HUGE deal, but I would really like to have a perfectly smooth top to the fightstick.

It should, your old plexi was 1/16" and the 1/32" is a lot thinner, so it should pretty much be flush with the bezel.(maybe 1mm or so higher?)

I know that art allows the option to not cut out the turbo area when ordering a plexi. I’ve got a madcatz round 1 TE. Can I remove the turbo panel and still functionality? Will the stick be set to DP by default?

the difference between the V3 and V.Hayabusa panels is just the four outer screws.

source: I ordered a V3 plexi and everything lines up except for those four screws. I’m a dummy.

is the TE2 the exact same layout as the TE2+? I’m thinking about ordering some new art but wasn’t 100% sure they were the same dimensions in terms of button spacing/layout.

Yikes! That shipping looks ridiculous , I’m glad that Art has never replied to my many emails to him . Thats just crazy .

Its overseas shipping, shipping to can Overseas take alot.

Especially when different countries have different standards.
Possibility part of that $42.05 is so you don’t get hit with a bigger Customs fee when the item comes into your country.
