Ray Palmer is Atom. This version of Ray Palmer might be in a similar situation to Barry before he got his powers (or in Rayās case, developed the technology to become the Atom. I think Felicity might play a role in that since she actually seems to be slightly smarter than him, at least on the pure technical computer side of things.)
I imagine she will be after some very extensive character development.
Oh god. I can just imagine her asking Nissa to train her when Nissa inevitably blows into town after hearing of Saraās deathā¦
Edit: It also kind of looks like they incorporated a little of Ted Kordās traits/assets into Palmer as well if Iām not mistaken

Iām at episode 5 of season 1, shit is so damn corny.
alot of season 1 is corny. its season 2 where things get real good.
I was SCREAMING at the end of Season 2, which was an amazing season from start to finish. Now that Iām caught up, my body ready for season 3.
The first half of Season 1 sucks. Itās afterwards that the show actually finds its identity.
Itās up to you if you want to believe us though.
It took me so long to get on board with Arrow because it was so painful to watch in the beginning. It was just corny and the acting was kinda eh. I think once I got to episode 8+, things started to kick off into high gear. Season 2 had me covering my mouth and screaming at the screen.
Please just push through the early pain. Itāll be so worth it.
