Seriously Flash should wreck Slade in any universe.
I get Deathstroke is a Badass but everyone who reads comics knows that scene is about as silly as Batman kicking that all knowing green sprit guy.

The idea of Slade besting a speedster period is stupid. That Slade reveal was too good. I hope Slade and Ollie falling out on the island wasn’t on some bullshit.

If you think that Slade can realisticly beat a speedster without plot induced stupidity, then Batman should have no problem beating Superman in the new movie

But I was somewhat serious, Superman/Batman is the best example of plot induced stupidity. Clark would kill Bruce.
Would a ridiculous match up like that work in live-action?
The thing abut Superman/Batman is that honestly The Dark Knight Returns was probably the only way to see a legit Supes vs. Batman fight.
At any rate, Slade vs. Ollie is gonna be awesome and thats on top the Malcolm Merlyn plot point and the League of Shadows.
I think this show has been great at making alot of things adapting the comics. But it failed at one of GA’s most important elements:
This show fails at the Black Canary and Green Arrow relationship imo. The two actors have far more chemistry with other actors but feel dry around each other.
I have never wanted a relationship that’s predetermined to happen, happen less than this one.
In the comics Green Arrow and Canary play off each well and are better characters together but on this show it’s the total opposite. Lauel and Ollie are more interesting with other characters.
Also isn’t Barry Allen getting his own show?
There’s no reason he can’t own everyone if he’s going to leave and start hero career later anyway.
I mean really the only time he ever needs to show up is to finish the little flirting thing with Felicity.
The last 3 episodes have been Ollie basically getting his ass handed to him by multiple characters. Some of which with no where near the name or cred that Flash has.
I doubt the audience would be phased by it at this point.
Arrow has been getting jobbed to no names, if he does anything to Flash I’ll laugh my ass off at the inconsistancy
Yeah I mean Ollie did get his ass whooped by Captain America levels of a bad guy. I didn’t mind it. It made his Rocky comeback in this episode that more better for it.
the problem with speedsters losing to deathstroke is the fact it’s well established two points.
1.every speedster who can run faster than sound all see shit in slow motion.
- all speedsters think faster than everyone else.
given these two points…they should always be able to see slade try and hit them and be able to think to dodge it. unless slade is playing chess and their is literally no options of escape…he should theoretically lose.
i kept lookin at arrow slade thinking he looked like a tanned sagat…street fighter has ruined me.

It is that bad because you can’t put Flashes in checkmate. Wally could have just vibrated through the explosions.
There’s also no way he should been able to detonate that many explosions before Wally stopped him.
Anyway you wanna look at the scene requires Wally to act like a complete moron just so Deathstroke stans can say he’s a viable threat to any speedster which is stupid.
But yeah Felicity’s hotness personified :).
