Ok first off long time fan of green arrow so huge skeptic about how this show would turn out. I got to say I enjoy it. Pacing is alright it could use alittle bit of a speed up. Now for the interesting stuff. It combines current run Green Arrow with Long Bow hunters post Hal and Ollie excellent adventures team up. What I mean by this is Ollie still has money like current run but kills people. Ollie killed people after Hal left earth to do space cop things. It was after Dinah got or almost got raped and he couldn’t do anything and killed the rapist. Then he toured around the world by himself met Shado fathered another bastard outside of Connor and got trained by some league memebers kinda like how he did in later run green arrow pre 52 where Natas trained him. During this time he was killing people and green arrow went to dark horse I want to say or it might have been Vertigo because the content was no longer kid friendly. This has all since been retconned IE 52 but it is nothing new. Speedy reference was a nod to both Roy being a druggy heroin I think but it has been awhile and the last speedy was female, Mia I thinkwas her name but I can’t remember. Merlyn being his best friend will be interesting as how will he get his training to be Ollies Rival? He was a league member and much older also. Ollies Dad and mom werent alive, also Ollie was basically a light hearted Batman when he was introduced. Second episode had a nod to Batman Beyond with the League assassin “Kirare” being the name of the poison that Dead Shot used on his bullets. Dead Shot might not be dead as he has been shot in the face before, kinda an easy fix if they want him back. Overall I am pleased as a green arrow fan as well as DC. Merlyn being used as a love interest foil akin to dark knight harvey dent for Bruce is weird but we will see were it goes. Ollie will get Dinah in the end, Merlyn will become a rival. If it makes it that far, heres hoping.

- Ollie didn’t kill anybody this episode. That’s good.
- Digs decided to be Ollie’s non-sidekick. Which basically means he’s a sidekick. Might as well call him Jerome.
- This episode talked a lot about killing but Ollie didn’t kill. I hope he doesn’t anymore.
- Looks like Dinah’s dad found out who GA is and next wekk will “prosecute him to the full extent of the law!”

Maybe the super rare "sort of"cute IT girl but not a girl like this…I doubt most girls in any technical profession come close to looking like her.
Anyways after 4 episodes I find the show fairly decent. I wasn’t much of a arrow fan outside the DCAU and I don’t have his new 52 run, so my knowledge on his history is very minimal. However I think the show has all the makings of being a CW "hit"and so far I’m entertained and mused by what I’m seeing. It’s far from perfect but it will be the only other show I will probably watch on TV(outside walking dead)that I can see myself having a good time with. I hope it doesn’t get pulled off the air anytime soon cause I have the feeling it does have a lot of potential in future episodes. I should also add that the urge to fap whenever speedy is in her schoolgirl outfit is a powerful comic force, she makes every episode a good 3-4 mins longer.

Can’t believe how much he fucked up though. Getting changed inside a prison! I’m glad things turned out this way otherwise that would have been a stupid plot hole

I think Ollie should just have a green mask like in the comics instead of a spray painted mask. I also wonder if they will give dinah a sonic scream or something, I can see this show mixing elements of superpowers without it seeming outta place.
i watched every episode to date and i read this thread so far and completely lost to who speedy and dinah is in the show O.o
dinah is clearly his ex…im guessin speedy is his drug dealin friend?
