CWâs target audience is Tumblr. ThatâsâŚnot even an insult or joke, thatâs their main demographic. They make their money on that. They have The Flash for a more comic book bent, but Arrow has always been primarily a Tumblr thing.
Laurel told Oliver to pull off some voodoo fake death shit on her since her identity was compromised; that or this new cinematic universe is just taking a huge dump on everything. Either way the team is getting gutted.

The thing is that normally I would say they are simply directing their focus to the people watching their show, but I think the writers are grossly overestimating how big a influence the tumblr community is. Iâve checked the Facebook and Twitter feeds of the show and nearly all of it is people shitting on the show. I have to wonder if the writers only care about olicity shippers to the exclusion of everyone else.
