I like how the arrow started off, no comicy shit (magic, superpowers, mysticism), and now this season will have magic and mysticism. Its a good thing though. Dont box yourself, but i imagine that as theyre combining tv show universes, they didnt want arrow stifling some characters because of rules on grounded enemies vs superpower/mystical ones, so they said, you gotta loosen dem rules up.
I hope they right constantines episode really well. Maybe it will gain more interest back in the character for a second go at the tv show.
