I have to say the best part was the intro for Roy even if Speedy is going to move in on him Dawson Creek style which will be dumb but hey CW. Vertigo replaced heroin yada yada, but Red Arrow Incoming or maybe just jump to Arsenal. My guess season finale is Ollie getting found out by Roy in some fashion and guess who gets a new sidekick.

I’ve been watching Elementary, pretty good popcorn TV.  The British version is better but its 2 hour eps.

People keep comparing Elementary to Sherlock and they aren’t made to be compared. Sherlock is pretty much a showcase of one of the most iconic British characters written some of the more prolific writers of today. Elementary is only borrowing the character and creating a weekly drama/procedural cop show. Sherlock is fucking brilliant. Elementary is very decent television and the take they have on the character is very interesting.

The episode with Vinnie Jones was really good. I really liked that side of the character.

its not that similar at all. this is alot more entertaining imo. it feels like if you skip a week you miss some good details…unlike smallville…you can skip and month and know exactly wtf is goin on.<br>

I was worried that the more bad ass island stuff they show, the weaker the present time eps would be, but this was a solid ep.  Lot of wheels starting to turn and pasts coming to light.  Good stuff.  Seriously, Arrow could not be more different than Smallville at this point lol.  And they’re getting better at the action direction.  Still a lot of cuts, but not near as bad as before.<br><br>Detective Hall…damn she looks good.  She looks way less Indian than in The League to me, almost looks Latina at times.  <br><br>Alex Kingston with an American accent…wtf?!<br><br><br>That thing with Deadshot killling Diggle’s brother…was that mentioned in the previous episode?  I can’t remember.  It wouldn’t be the first time the writers put something out there without any setup.  <br>

Nah I know the cuts are necessary cuz everyone but Slade’s actor probably has no good fight choreo training to sell it proper anyway.  I’m just glad the editor isn’t going nuts anymore.  Even dialogue scenes of the early eps had these half second cut aways that would bug the hell out of me.  <br>

Lol there are a lot of threads like that, that blow my mind searching. Search for Green Arrow, or Arrow, and you get all the “MvC” Hawkeye and “Injustice:Gods Among Us” Arrow threads. It’s like when I search for Doctor Who, and get all the Doctor Strange threads :frowning:
