Tanks have increased turning speed when stationary in this game, so they can actually keep up with fast cores trying to run circles around them, so yeah I think they will be pretty good in PVP.
Spider Legs make very good sniping platforms and support AC’s. They are pretty decent if you ask me but they are very slow in this game so you have to adjust if you played the older AC games, at least I did.
Getting money is pretty easy. You earn anywhere from 50k-200k for really easy missions early on. It’s super rad.
I got the game and god dame Im so noob lol, I got bodied a few times by the AI for being a cheap azz and not upgrading my mech lol.
I would suggest having a separate mech for pve and pvp purposes.
Rifles and Battle rifles are amazing for pve because of there ammo and the fact that you dont want to waste a karasawa round on a tank.
But in pvp the fights are much faster so rifles kind of die off.
I hear this game is legit as fuck. How is the control scheme? Is it the same twin analogue stick ez mode as AC4? Or is it more like AC2?

Building a mech is expensive. I was playing some Order Missions and encountered some AC in which my bullets kept bouncing right off. Yeah, I know I didn’t have the right type of weapons at first… I used my missiles or whatever that electric blast is.
Its legit, the game feels so old school.

Running a high mobility heavy RJ set up right now.
Mainly a tank killer that is mobile enough to do front line fighting while being a threat to the very fast cores because it has some staying power.
Trying to balance out my weapon set ups to be a threat at every range and with every attack type.
Once my team level is 50 which give me access to a ton of parts I will start work on 3 mech that suit my play style.
