^^ Good to see excitement for TvC, I haven’t played the new version yet, but I did enjoy the older one when I had the chance to try it. Good shit Ed, gald to see you’re going to make it up.
There’s been talk of trying to run a team tourney for one of the games if there is time. Which game and how many per team? Sounds like a good idea to me, just figure out what you all want to run. We have the venue till 2-3am so there should be excess time for anything we want to play.
Ok, so we’ve been getting requests to run a melty blood: aa tournament and I would say it’s a big possibility seeing as blazblue is in limbo (it seems) with the new cs out on pc. Here’s the deal, we don’t have any copies of MBAA out here, so we would need a couple of copies of the game. If those of you who want it run can bring two copies of the game, we can set aside atleast two crts for it and I’ll run the brackets personally. Fair deal? I would even say that running guilty gear would just as likely to happen as well.

Hey jason, I can take care of the pre-regs in the second post. I’m putting up a tenative schedule there too. Just change HDR and 3s entry fees to $5.
Everyone go ahead and pre-reg, even for side tournaments as well so I can get an interest check for things. Team tournaments are definitely possible, just haven’t determined what games. (suggestions include HDR, VS, CVS2?! really Ryan? :lol:) I wouldn’t mind running random 3S or SF4 teams.

Thanks for taking care of that Justin. I appreciate the help. I got 3s and HDR changed, should I switch them to the 80/20 split, or keep it 60/30/10? And should we ban Akuma for HDR, or is that a given that he already is? You can put me down for SF4, HDR, VS, TvC, and BB(if we actually run it).
Using Sasquatch is cheating Corey. But team VS would solve that.
Sas is not cheating. Zabel is haha. If the Team VS tournament happens I’m going to be the most hype I’ve ever been. I’ll probably cry. Or get super drunk.
Edit: I think it should be 60-30-10. I always like getting the fee for the tournament back.

I think it is pretty much a given. If you do put that down, then all this other stuff for other games should be put down too like “No turbo buttons”, “No Gill in 3rd strike” and I don’t even know which characters are banned in Tekken. I think everyone should know the rules by now that we don’t need to post it up, but by all means we will still be keeping an eye for that stuff during the tournament and enforcing the rules.
60/30/10 should probably be for all the games except for the side tournaments. Winner take all for VS is fine though since that is a much older game that we are promoting. Side tournament entry fees will probably be $5 or $2.
I’ll have a PS2 with MBAA and there’s a chance I may grab a CRT (though small) as well.
