Where’s the Marvel at today?
Munchi, I did not want to drive to Tuscon, but since Armando took that last spot, I’d be willing to take you and anyone else willing to chip in gas money in the Tempe area.
Wonder why marvel has such a big scene over there, yet SFXT and AE seem to get shunned.
Hey homie you and I are on that don’t invite list remember haha
Once I get back from all these trips down south I’ll be in there hosting and I wont be avoiding niggehz either like some fake ass bitches do here
Because Marvel is fuuuuuuuuuuuun.
I do like SFxT, but having the tournament be 2v2 made me lose a lot of interest in the game, since I liked it specifically because I got to play as 2 characters. I still enjoy playing it casually though, and I would consider entering 1v1 tournaments.
Thanks to Haz and all the guys I played against last night for great games in KoF and SG. Look forward to doing it again
I definitely think Parasoul is one of those characters you have to know how to play. Knowing is half the battle, yo. That being said, I’m just saying it now, I think Peacock is one of the best characters, dat zoning.
Anyway, good games in Skullgirls and Marvel last night! I’m sorry I was being real free in Marvel towards the end of the night, but I really can’t play on a stick (hurr excuses).
And thanks to the guys playing Skullgirls! I learned a few things which really helped, and it helped me figure out how to approach some matchups. I’m hoping this game becomes one of the major tournaments events.
Speaking of Tucson, I am planning on leaving for Tucson in the afternoon on Saturday, thinking about leaving around 2:30.
Jio said he wants to go, so I have 2 spots left (3 if people in the back don’t mind squeezing in)
I would like people to chip in for gas, and I would prefer to meet at my house before leaving, which is on Ray and Dobson.
Let me know if you are interested!
Yo, we’z in there!
Bought Skullgirls earlier today. Feels pretty interesting so far. Not sure how much time I have to take it seriously, but I felt like showing some support for their effort. Cerabella is fun so far.
So… the Peacock BNB I’ve developed does more damage than any of the combos into Argus Agony I’ve been able to find. .____.
A little late to the party, but I’m currently downloading Skullgirls. Even if I don’t like it, hearing about the development process via the SRK podcast has got me wanting to support Mike Z. Dude’s been working on this game for like 10 years, and the cost to me is a one-time price equal to what people pay per month for The Old Republic.
It’s just a bonus that it sounds pretty badass. Looking forward to trying it soon.
Finally got to play some Skullgirls at length; so first of all I love the aesthetics, the quirky nature of the characters, the pop culture references, the whole ambiance of the game and the music ranges between “great” and “I love this song!”. The gameplay is like a mash-up of GG and Marvel, I guess? I really still don’t know what I’m doing, mainly dashing around like a maniac with Filia and trying to get some semblance of a combo out and the same with Peacock, with a little more “just throw crap on the screen and hit-confirm Bang Bang Bang-to-Argus”. BTW Peacock is the love child of Cable and Dizzy. That being said, the matches I played were fun and even after getting completely destroyed in some games, I still wanted to come back for more, so that’s a positive for this game. It’s definitely a fun game, I just don’t see myself learning it seriously tho.
Good games last night Armando, Jeo, Dana and Van. Felt good to play again after a couple weeks.
I’ve played BlazBlu. I’ve had trouble with Carl too but not as much. I’m pretty sure SG is faster than BB. But meh, iunno. I’ve only really played it 2 days and haven’t gotten completely used to the game yet. I’m playing on stick which I’m still a total noob at with it.
BB isn’t a very “fast” game, but I feel SG is just as “slow”. But it feels a hell of a lot clunkier in terms of the smoothness of the animation, and moves feel like they take forever to come out and whiff recovery is so long I could text during it.
SG actually just feels like MVC3, minus the crazy fast shit and huge array of projectiles.
I want to support a game that is made directly from somebody from the community, but I feel like there was too much that wanted to be done and the game is suffering because they decided to stuff all of their ideas into it.
Guys, why am I shit at playing Wesker? ;_; Back to the character dilemma.
First evidence of how famous HAZMAT is getting:
Fuck yeah EVO2012 tag let’s go
So I registered for kof at evo this year who is riding/roomin with who?
