I’ll be down to come by and play, I haven’t played UMvC3 in a while and Apple Pie and Baseball(Captain America) need some warm up.
Only thing I don’t like about SFxT right now is rolling, it is a 100% free escape(there is no downside right now to using it since you can block immediately), and I see scenarios like you trying to zone out a rushdown character and they purposely take a projectile in the crotch so they can be knocked down and roll right in to show you what dat pressure like.
You can only forward roll right? People have read my rolls in the corner and have backed up as I was about to wake and then they grab me. -.-’ I’ve gotten used to it though so it’s not that bad anymore.
My only problem with sfxt so far is that it is tragically slow. The inputs/links feel unresponsive, and half the cast has Makoto’s walk speed. Kind of kills a lot of the hype for me when I compare it to zipping around with Strider.
Yeah, I really don’t get the walk speed for half the cast in this game.

Yo, Scott thank you for posting the tourney. And yes… yay for MAN entry fees. And the door fees are what they are because they have to be. If we could do this shit for free, we would. No one is making a profit, even with the door fees so high… everything is coming out of Ed’s pockets so the $10 goes to him and AiaB because its the right thing to do to support the Tucson community. If you don’t wanna pay the $10, then don’t show… simple as that. But to everyone who has supported AiaB consistently since the beginning (too many to name), Tucson loves you and thanks you.

Half the cast is slow but they have 59392277474 high low options. A price to pay to have such powerful options.
In the flip side, you got fast characters, and fast movement options.
It’s not sf4, if you can’t get past that, you won’t like this game
Whelp, finally got used to the system. I was playing Yoshimitsu while I learned so now he’s my best character, which I think may be bad since I keep hearing he’s the worst. .____.
But I’ll stick it out with him! >:3

Okay, so after some more play with storm today…I don’t feel she is going to pair well with Nova in the way I had planned. I need some help with Nova team construction because my ideas are TERRIBLY off haha. Advice from the community? Iron fist is looking good as a second slot, but he is kind of lacking aside from damage. No aerial options, no projectiles and such.
The good news is my hate for Rolento has subsided…the bad news is my hate for Rufus has grown ten-fold.

SFXT froze up on me today. I was playing online against a team of 2 and it got to the stage select and froze. music still played, but i couldnt even use the home button.

i kinda wanna play one of the newer games like sfxt or scv… but i cant get past the 123456789 directional codes for 8way run… so im thinkin ill go to sfxt… lol
but…but… it’s so simple. Then again, I play all the games where that notation is law so =3=
