That’s the first time I’ve ever heard the word “crossplay.” There was some debate on FB awhile back about whether Marvel is an anime fighter or not. I think ol’ Fizzykups is spearheading that front.
In the comic books he is in fact male and also has a sister.
Also an artist drew umvc3 characters in female anime fashion so that specific picture just has dorm as a female gothic Lolita. Nothing specific.

I remember when I showed people the 2005 Defenders comics, they just kept going on about how Dorm’s sister was hot… but I’d agree with Angelic about him being male (or self-proclaimed male)
I’d say Marvel is, like… the American equivalent of an Anime fighter. Like whatever the japanese call American cartoons.
(Though if they ever crossover, Rachel and Dormammu seem like they’d make an awesome zoning team)

Do you specifically mean Marvel 3? The VS series and Vampire predate Guilty Gear and subsequent anime fighters by quite a large amount of time, and correct me if I am wrong, but those two games set up a lot system mechanics that anime fighters use.
You could go back further and throw X:COTA and MSH in there. Basically, any game with screens 2x high and “aerial raves” would qualify as a granddad of “anime” fighters. I think the “anime” part only really refers to the actual look of the characters.

Jeo is the best hands down even as he was dropping those game winning combos and choking I could really tell where he was coming from when he told us earlier about the whole best player thing. Also know that the only time his team won was due to T-Dot OCVing!

hey guys… i just thought id post up here first before i put it into the trading outlet… im selling my toodles chimpsmd board and the madcatz retro arcade board that i wouldve wired to it… but just never got around to it… the chimp really easy to wire as well as the retro which is all common ground…
im selling one definitely but i do have a second set that i was considering keeping… both are brand new still in box in the case of the retro stick… the chimpsmd board by itself goes for 35 on toodles site and lizard lick and the retro stick goes for around 25-30 bucks on ebay last time i saw some there…
id prefer to sell both (chimp+retro stick) as a set for 50…
(this is the retro stick in case you wernt sure…)
just remember that theyre new unwired and unsoldered…
