Some Bruce Lee game on the SNES had 2v1 fights in it too.
The Guardian Heroes multi-player versus was awesome. Glad someone made that reference! So many names were dropped in this thread that I’m not sure I can think of other good examples, lol.
Does CVS2 give you an option to play two player-teams?
You can have two people out at the same time in TTT? Please, people, read the first post.
He wants a game where it’s 2 v 2 with both characters on both teams on the screen at the same time. Not a tag game.
The Dead or Alive series accepted 4plyrs for it’s tag mode (best mode in DOA, IMO). I thought TvC would have four player support for it’s tag fighting (considering the console’s couch-play friendly nature) but no go. Too bad.
Any fighter with a tag mode (or even team mode) should have an option to have a player for every character.
Panzer Bandit +2
That game has some crazy ass juggles. Take Final Fight, add crazy air juggles that take enemies off of the screen and comboing into supers plus even more shenanigans and you have Panzer Bandit.
lol dramatic mode. everyone makes fun of someone when they seem them play that.
As good as Panzer Bandit was, it was for the most part a clone of Guardian Heroes, which had the same shenanigans and more.
Sounds like Pit Fighter to me…
I was about to suggest the DBZ Boudokai Tenkaichi series before somebody mentioned that they had to be on the screen at the same time.
Does it count if they’re actually two dudes but they’re fused into one?
No?
Drat.
Nothing comes to mind that hasn’t already been brought up. Only fighter I’ve played that had more than two people on the screen at once was the VS mode hidden in Star Ocean: Till The End of Time for the PS2. (3-man FFAs. Fun as hell fighter too.)
onimusha blade warriors…
Dungeon Fighter Online (LOL)
Team game is fucked up sometimes (well most of the time) though. Because you go into a pvp room and the other team wants to have 4 launchers/mechs in the tavern, which is the smallest damn stage in pvp. So imagine 4 horizontal laser beams and/or robot rush raping you and your team healths in the first 10 seconds. Though if they actually pick a bigger stage like the snow place (which gives you lives at the cost of reduced defense) its actually fun to work as a team… well sometimes, this game is run by Nexon so expect a bunch 5 year olds and black screen of death in pvp. But yea, 2v2 is fun as hell. But thats conditionally though. Some bastard comes in with +15 shit to kill you in 1 combo, but that’s a problem with not having united arena where they actually cap overpowered gear.
bleach blade battlers 2nd–1vs1vs1vs1,2vs2,1vs1,3vs1,2vs1vs1.
