They should have been unlocked as your character levels up. Every 10 levels you unlock two colours.

I imagine all the colors will be sold in a bundle per character for a dollar or two. Still a rip, but better than all separate and a dollar each.

Hell if I know. I guess arcade mode is on Capcom’s to-do list. Maybe next year we’ll see something.
I feel like at this point, the game is so likely to change (as Capcom realizes their f-ups) that I’m just waiting till things settle down (and hopefully the DLC gets a lot cheaper) before I actually commit to anything in the store.

inb4 these “survival bundles” for each character is per costume, so if you have 5 costumes you have to get 5 bundles.

Its frustrating. I bought the season pass no questions. I’ll buy costumes/stages over the course of the game. I bought the game that they’re now saying is a ‘service’ but still charged full price for. But colours, sheeeit! I’d buy a colour editor, sure no problem. But individual colours? They’ve been a button push away in games for around 25 years.
Oh yeah, sure you can earn fight money by playing survival. But make it fair. They could lower the amount of fights you have to complete. Add some sort of continue system. Make the difficulty not switch from idiot to pro in one fight to the next. Make colours unlock for ALL outfits. Low health supliment? Damn! There are so many simple fixes for survival. But no, its give us money for colours.
You earn FM from playing online but I’m still getting ‘failed to retrieve results’. So no FM. The whole process is hugely flawed. So I can’t always get the fight money I’ve earned or I have to play an awful shitty mode that gives you bad habits for hours. Its just a unnecessary grind.
Then we have Capcom who are, pfft, what? I’d say out of touch but that’s a massive understatement. We just get ‘sorry’, ‘we’ll communicate more’ (still vague and don’t answer to legit concerns) and ‘here buy new shitty DLC. £20’
I suppose that’s the end of the rant. This shit is just triggering me and I’m the street fighter fan. We’re the wrong people to piss on. Show us some love.

Maybe it’s time we all start speaking with our wallets more until Capcom gets the message. I did buy the season pass (and will probably buy future ones for the characters), but I’m starting to think that I shouldn’t buy any other DLC in an effort to show my disapproval.
It just won’t work though. Plus I want the stuff, haha. The colours really have me riled because the solutions are simple and could earn them a bit of leeway from us fans. They’re just too stubborn or stupid. I don’t know which is worse
I’m unfortunately guilty of buying the bearded Ryu, since… I can’t just get it with fight money… 
Won’t be buying any of the other stuff, maybe five years from now there will be a complete edition, and when that day comes I’ll buy that… when it’s on sale. lol
The color thing is absolutely ridiculous. I honestly stopped trying to get any colors but since I picked up bearded Ryu I find myself once again sitting here face palming having lost to Bison at stage 30 on normal. I…hate everything about this. And of course the first three colors are just the worst combinations, yellow and fuschia? forest green and red? Great, I can look like a watermelon.
Pressing a certain button for a color in SF2 and SF3 was good, but I thought SF4 had it perfect. IIRC, every time you played as a character in Endless or Ranked, you unlocked a color or a taunt. Win or lose. It should just be as simple as that. It actually gave me a small incentive to play characters that I normally wouldn’t play.
So we will be able to purchase all colors now? Naturally I’m assuming this means colors 11-15 for characters. Getting to level 50 is ridiculous even if you only care about one or two characters
