lol AH3 got alot of support on this forum.
Good stuff is good. WE can push this to EVO.
Some FG fans gonna complain more than Melty tho lol. Should be epic to see their reactions.

Again, before you ‘push it to Evo’ push it to have an actual community.
Now’s the best time too, plenty of people to pull away from Super.
Ono’s digging Super’s grave only quicker with the new characters. It’s nice but come on. More BS and more hating that [insert character] doesn’t play like their past version.
on that note though, we DO need to build a community for it. A stable one at that. We got the nitpick parts of america but not enough to say “yea this shit needs a evo push since melty was there.”
Random thought:
Is there a “greatest hits” version of S!AH2 on ps2? Anyone own it? Any differences?
Sometimes the “greatest hits” version of games either add things that weren’t in the old version or fix issues that were in the first release copies (in this case the slow down)…in those copies.
I know this is wishful thinking. But thought it was worth a mention (please be gentle). And since I don’t live near an arcade that has AH3, I figured maybe I should start practicing S!AH2 to get refamiliarize with the system.
But if AH3 is nothing like S!AH2…then I guess I am S.O.L’ed.
Gonna grind so hard when this game comes out
UUUGGGGHHHHHNNNNNN
S!AH2 PS2 is trash period. Lol.
I think AH3 is very similar to AH2 from what people are saying (I’ve never played AH3)… Though I doubt the greatest hits would have fixed the lag… unless it went under the radar and no one bothered to check…
I’m so hyped AH3 is finally getting a console port. At least I’ll have a chance to play AH3.
Time to crank dat Konoha…well…when the game comes out that is, but I’m happy though.
never played and heard of this series till this year. so what exactly separates this series from other fighting games? i don’t mean that anime of loli BS i mean from the gameplay system. Do you consider this a difficult game to get into as in learning curve? also from my understanding there are combinations of characters and arcana, are there certain combinations that might not mix well or is it just preference for play style?
That’s what I am banking on. You never know nowadays.
There’s no “greatest hits” version btw because the game sold like shit because it was shit.
In any case. AH3 is pretty much the Accent Core of Arcana Heart. You’re going to have to do quite a decent amount of adjusting going from the previous games.
Hmm seems you are right. Guess I’ll have to wait for AH3. :bluu:
First you select a character, then you choose one of the Arcana to aid you in your fight. Depending on which you choose, you’re able to not only access that arcana’s special attacks, but other effects too! Which Arcana you pick can completely change your fighting strategy (combined with the character’s own moveset.)
There are hundreds of playstyle combinations, which is unheard of in other fighting games, with so many playstyles that are created out of different character and arcana unions.
All combinations mix well, some better than others but that shouldn’t stop anyone from using any combination they prefer! It’s a very deep system, the learning curve is fair but mastering takes improved skills like all great fighting games.
It’s sort of like if you could choose your drive in blazblue. For example, wind arcana lets you triple jump, double airdash, quickfall, a boomerang, and a boomerang super. Completely changes a character’s gameplan. Niptra - Poverty Wiki Some examples here, though some of the data is from AH2 and some arcana just have no data in this wiki loll
Additionally, the game just has high air mobility in general, through things like homing dash.
I don’t think so, but some people reported it working smoother on an emulator though.
I think it was down the lines of working better on a emulator along with removing all the extra effects. I think at that point the game ran at regular speed.
I hope Winter release means In time for NEC
I dont want to come SaltyHype like last time :looney:
Port wish list: id like tracks from S!AH2, arcsys known for having
decent stage/music selection @VS in their games. The little things that make
you love a home port even more.
Shhhhiiitt bout to build a 5 button dedicated PS3 AH stick
so how many of you are just bullshitting about playing ah3? i wonder how many ppl will really stick around 4-5 months fom now when the game drops
Arturo, you getting it on PSN? I’m gonna be playing against Ken 24/7 after the game comes out. Yay for annoying matchups (Scharlachrot/Konoha vs Maori/???)
Also I got the Kamui matchup on lockdown as it is
UGH
can’t wait!
