I think they should add an option rarely found in home versions that allows turning off pausing during versus matches. That would be very useful for tournaments and even normal local play when an accidental pause can really change the outcome of the battle in thought process ways. Well at least online pause is always off.
I’m so glad Arc Systems is porting this. The online play sounds like it will be as good or better than Blazblue, which is already better than other fighting games online out there!

Atlus still deserves some credit though because if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t have been introduced to the very fun, refreshing and innovative gameplay formula and great characters this series has without that localized hands-on experience!
But I’m definitely interested in importing Arcana Heart 3.
By the time Aksys decides to localize this, it would probably be 2011 before US gets it.

I swear, Japanese fight game developers are so out of touch with the way the rest of the world plays their games. Atleast the Tekken producer and Ono have come out to Evo, so they’ve probably witness the kinds of problems console tournaments run in to. ArcSys guys only come out to AnimeCons, via AkSys I guess. But since it’s ArcSys we’ll atleast have a decent control config and probably BB’s controller to player assignment thing.

I was just wondering, iirc AH3 was SD when I played it in Japan. Will they be changing it to HD? if they do how will this affect the game D: hopefully if they do a HD/wide screen option it wont affect anything.

It is SD. I’m assuming it’ll mostly be like how it was done with MvC2 with the widescreen and 4:3 options. As for myself. Assuming I get the 360 version I’m definitely running it at 640x480 on one of my CRT monitors. Lol.

I’m just a tad worried about the whole SD vs HD for AH3 I don’t want the aspect ratio to affect how some combos will work and stuff. But hopefully it’s just me being too worried and everything will be fine.
The picture on the front page of SRK looks pretty good to me so there might not be much to worry about but I have horrible eyes for seeing but the most glaring differences in graphics.
the picture on the front page, is it from the console port? I know it’s SD in arcades, but since they are porting it to a new gen console there is a chance it will get a wide screen layout and if that happens it might affect game play a little (i think this happened in tvc also not sure) I don’t want anything changing from SD vs wide screen resolutions when playing. I’m pretty sure I’m worried over nothing though.
