kind of a dumb question, but since this is an arcade, does that mean no console characters allowed?
Just to be consistent with previous events, only Balrog is banned…but you can totally use console characters if you can unlock them. :tup:

I’m going to go ahead and add more info on the 5v5 Street Fighter 4 event.
** Registration
The way this will work is that instead of the usual $5 per person, you will be charged $10 per person (not team). If you have already paid the entry fee then don’t worry about it (if not, then yes you will be charged the extra $2 to enter).
** Bracket
It will be set to Single Elimination / Single Match all the way. The reason behind this is because 5v5 take a damn long time.
** Cap on cities
There will be a maximum of 2 teams per city. Meaning that no more than 2 Houston teams, no more than 2 Dallas teams, etc. It is capped at 2, so pick your best players to see who can rep for Texas.
** Prize Pot
Top 2 will be rewarded cash prize, and #1 might get a little extra something (we can’t promise anything, but I’d like to have something extra for 1st place).
Split will go 80/20.
** Schedule
The 5v5 will start shortly after the Street Fighter 4 3v3 tournament.

There’s like at least 12 of us coming from Dallas, and I believe around 8 or so people from Arkansas are coming to Dallas Friday night then following us to Austin.
