To not derail this thread any further, MVC2 and MVC, despite being a sequel that shares many common similarities, are two different beasts. That being said, I can’t go back to any other game after playing MVC2, just the number of options the game gives and the much faster game play, it’s just impossible to go back to.

As far as being able to do a whole lot more doing a match, I pick mvc2. Sure you can call assists infinitely, but if they’re dead, its the same thing as running out of assists in mvc1.
