The PS3 cannot be turned on by a wired controller.
Iām aware of thatā¦apparently they use Bluetooth ONLY! Sony always doing something different. I figure if a BUST open a SIXAXIS borrow the circuit board and āpad hackā wire the PS button to my button. There are a few things I donāt understand (or have worked out) will the circuit board alone workā¦plugged into USB, without connection to the PS3 via Bluetooth, via software. Seems like it will work but I donāt know. GOAL: Have a button that can power up the PS3, that is underneath the control panel. I do A LOT of folding @ Home. Sometimes that makes my internet connection weirdā¦since I do it for hours/DAYā¦turning off the PS3 from the softwareā¦works well, Iād like to have a way to power back onā¦without opening the front door.

Yes, it does I have 2 PS360+ in my Kraylix. I have guide/home wired to a button under my control panel. With PS3 you need to hit power on the console then the home button. Sorry for the double post.
The whole point is he doesnāt want to touch the system in order to turn it on.

Correct, thanks for making this more clear. I can easily turn off the PS3 via softwareā¦but if my front door is closedā¦Iād like to hit a button underneath the control panel to turn the PS3 back on. I donāt know if Iāll need SIXAXIS PCB or third party SIXAXIS PCB connector (that Iāve seen). Either way, it seems Iāll have to use a direct wired connection into PS3 just like the PS360+

I had Kray put built and paint the cab for meā¦ It took around 4 and half weeks to be completed; the wait was well worth it. His wood work is amazing. I recommend customer to get it painted from him. He does an excellent job will post more pics on progression soon.
