Anyone here bought a VEWLIX kit from KRAY?

Are these wider then the regular candy cabinets, meaning its not too cramped when sitting next to each other?

we need a price range for the KLX

Yes, it was base off of Donovan design… The dimension you are close…

At the moment no…mabe in the future depending on the demand…

I don’t know how wide the candy cabinet are but the kit version is 32" wide…

It probably be around $200-$300…

If you still need the measurement for that still, let me know because I just got my VLX today.

Edit: VLX thickness from bottom to top panel is: 3.25" (without rubber bottom) and add .25" (with rubber bottom). Total 3.5". Mind you that the optional baseboard that’s included is not measured.

Sent my deposit… Cant wait to get it and get to work sanding, priming and painting… Then hooking everything up…

Thanks Kray

I want. So bad.

How bad? lol

any new updates as far as the KLX?

I been busy trying to finish up my last batch of kits so I can ship them out.
I will start cutting the KLX next week. The side legs will be in two pieces to make it easier for packaging.
This will also allow me to make the foot extend out farther if I need to for stability.

To Kray or anyone who has this, can this fit through a regular 29" door? Can the control panel come off?

No, if won’t fit with the CP on. The CP do come completely off.

Question about KLX: Once it is assembled, how easy or hard would it be to disassemble (for storage reasons)?
Or is it permanent once all the parts are together? I hope the assembly process doesn’t require any glue.

Damn, if I wasn’t already building my own cab I would be buying one of these-- priortiy one. Kray, I suspect this will be a great source of income for you. You’ll probably have to hire someone to help you.

I don’t know if it’ll be a GREAT source of income, but I hope he does well. Lot of cheapasses out there.

I will use a combination of screws and cam-bolts, you can still take them apart for transport reason but I just can’t imaging you would want to disassemble and reassemble everytime you need to use it. The assebmling process does not require any glue but I do use glue and screws to build the top half CP.

This is a hobby for me, I spend for more time making arcade cabinet than playing game on it. I don’t make enough to hire extra help and I’m not planning to quit my day job anytime soon.

I see. Well I wanted to know because I may not use it for long periods at a time. Hope the KLX is coming along well. Can’t wait for the final dimensions so I can start measuring for a potential spot as its home.
