So Kinko’s has vinyl? Do i just say can i have this printed out on vynyl, how much did it cost?
I live in Houston, TX and all of our Kinkos are now Fed Ex Print offices. Pretty much the same thing but yeah you just tell them you want it printed to scale on vinyl. I believe for me it was $12 a foot and total it was about 3-3.5 feet. I went about an hour before they closed and made conversation with the female employee since it took awhile for my gigantic psd file to open up. She ended just charging me for 1 foot and told me to comeback at night whenever I need anything else printed. So if you get hooked up awesome, if not it will cost around $36-45 for marquee, cp, and movelist.
Aww yeah, chatting up kinky…er; kinko’s chicks.
So i called Kinko’s & they said that Vinyl is $9 a foot & Photo-Paper is $12…Is Vinyl the ideal route or was just cheaper? Can someone chime in on this before i head out later on tonight…Thanks
Anyone have a clue about HDMI to VGA adapters/converters/splitters? I want to re-purpose my old dell flat monitor as a spectator screen on the marquee of the arcade cab but I it’s VGA only. So I need the HDMI from the PS3 to go to both the HDMI main screen and the VGA spectator screen. Suggestions, scowls? Let me know what you know, thanks in advance.
Ended going to Kinko’s last night & printed out Marquee & Control Panel…Turned out decent, i used Photo Paper Semi-Gloss…Didn’t print out any instruction sheet yet but not even sure i want instruction sheet there, what would you guys recommend instead?

Should be getting speakers & in a week or so…
Firefold makes a good product. I’ve been using their switch for some time.

Definitely go with a powered HDMI splitter, send 1 hdmi to the cabinet, and send the other through an HDMI>VGA converter to your Dell

Pretty pricey buying all those converters to be able to use your dell monitor, if you had a 360 you could just get a 360 VGA cable and VGA splitter. PS3 probably has a VGA cable one too.
$50 is a little pricey, I use this one that I got for $30

And mono price always has great prices

Thanks guys; this info’ll come in very handy. I’m currently weighing this route vs. a small HDMI picture frame; like 10" or so. Whichever is more cost effective plus other factors I’ll decide then. Thanks again for the help!
Hay guys quick question should i use dvi or vga for the kraylix slim ASUS VH236H monitor?
Use the hdmi, lag is not noticeable at al on the Vh236Hl…My 32" LG i use VGA
Will you see a noticeable difference if you switch from HDMI to VGA on a 32" LG? I currently use a HDMI on my 32" LG. It seems to work fine. By the way, does anyone know of a way to have your control panel hooked up to multiple consoles at once without having to constantly unplug and plug USB’s when switching. I have an Xbox and PC in my Kraylix. Hope someone knows of a solution.
Yes! Thanks! Looks like something I could use. Just what I had in mind. Hope it works.
I was just about to ask about this, good show!
So i have mine on the way. A question for people who have one. I’m thinking of running a PC in it as well. Does anyone use both a system and a PC in theirs. If so how so you switch between the 2. Also what tv are you running. I was thinking of getting this vizio since it has the vga port on it already
How are you lighting the coin returns?
For whoever painted their cabinet. Is spraycans the way to go or is painting with rollers easier?
I use all three systems xbox360, ps3 and pc. It would depend on what type of pcb board you are using. I have the paewang boards installed and they work great along with some usb switch boxes. I use a LG 32" through hdmi and it works great.
