And why should I blame Capcom for a product that I like and that runs pretty fine on my machine?
I have 115down about 13ish up, 10ms ping, only a hardwired modem here no wireless available, i7 4790, plenty or ram, GTX 960, and the game plays like hell online and it feels like a bad joke offline. I just reinstalled the game to collect fight money from the previous story modes I had not yet cleared. Upon firing the game up I was completely disgusted by the feel of the game play and it somehow seems even worse than I remember it. I didn’t bother checking online because it’s a disaster with teleporting players and insane wait times. I can actually get matches in a dead game VF5FS on PSN and USF4 on PSN/PC faster than I can in SF5 & they run smoother too. I cleared the story modes, collected the fight money and immediately uninstalled SF5 again. It feels like the worst SF game i’ve ever played and I played the arcade version of SF1 way back with its bad controls. The fact that this is a modern 2016 game and not a lowly 1989 game makes it feel substantially bad. I honestly don’t see how people can put up with playing this game at all. I got the fight money to try Ibuki so i’ll re-install the game on June 30th when the next patch gets dropped, then after 10 minutes of playing this junk again the uninstall will be fairly prompt i’m sure.
I would trade the upcoming story mode for a fix to that bug during lobbies which randomly prevents the Rematch/Character select dialog from coming up and forces them to restart the game due to the hang

I like Phenom, but I don’t see the point of admitting you don’t like the game. I can’t see how it can positively impact his image as a pro Street Fighter player.
I’ll be the first to point out all the flaws and failures of SF5, but I’d be lying through my teeth if I said this wasn’t the Street Fighter I’ve been wanting to play since the 90s. SF5 gameplay feels right, and I am still optimistic in spite of all that Capcom have done that it will only get better from here.

I think it’s more that negative people are a lot louder than the people who are enjoying the game. Luckily I’m one of the folks who enjoys the game, sucks for people like yourself who have to stick out the 7-8 year run of this game either whining about it or pretending to play Guilty Gear.

19 year old that won a major and plays better SF5, and probably SF in general, than likely anyone else in this thread. Even Gene Wong who got top 8 at EVO for Capcom vs SNK 2 twice said he hated this game. And like I said before, Viscant has said he can’t see himself playing this game for much longer. Snake Eyes has said no one would be playing this game if it weren’t for the money.
