Kyo is the motherfucker in the KOF/FF/AOF universe. Without LB and SS, he would be “the man” in SNK. Ive never seen Terry, Ryu and Ken having power to destroy a whole city…
Kyo is not my favorite, i dont even like him. But he is what he is. Cannon is cannon. While Terry, Ryu and Ken are normal guys that trained hard, in a very “realistic” (for a game) sense, Kyo is just this legendary guy.
Terry defeated Geese, the Jins and Krauser. But he NEVER won a KOF where Kyo, K or Ash were present. Meaning, his team was always defeated by someone else (hell, the Womens Team got into the finals once, and his team didnt).
Ryu defeated Sagat. Thats all thats cannon, AFAIK. By SF3 hes very strong, but we dont even know if he won the “tournament” there. It was probably Alex…
And Ken… cant beat Ryu.
End of Story. Terry, Ryo, Geese, even Takuma… Theyre all below Kyo, Iori and Kagura. Its cannon, not open to debate.
ya know what, time? i don’t want this to turn into another who can beat who debate. clearly we’re at the wrong thread AND board for that. besides, i’m sure we both know it will get us NOWHERE. i already said what i had to say in regards to kyo’s powers and all. you said what you had to say. we’ll just leave it at that. agreed??
Hong Kong Comics I like? Let’s see, I like Storm Riders and am even reading the Nameless Novel. I also like Weapon of the Gods and the Crouching TIger Hidden Dragon Comic. Tony Wong’s Batman story wasn’t that great, and it is completly owned by Manga Artist Kia Asamiya’s “Child of Dreams,” of course that story owns a lot of Bat Books anyway. I liked the Hong Kong Comic of Resident Evil Code Veronica, and I also liked the SVC Manga, but I just don’t take Hong Kong Comics based on Fighting Games seriously since they are filled with whacky stuff. I’m a huge Masahiko Nakahira fan so I let stuff like Sakura beating Kyo slide, but that’s just me.
Yeah but I think the point Time_stop is making is neither Kyo, K’ or Ash were in those King Of Fighters tournaments - and he has only ever won them in the Fatal Fury stories where they didn’t take part. So you may take the fact he didn’t win overal in the stories when they did take part as Terry being weaker. Least thats what I read Time_stop as saying.
But as stated by what Whatever comment (hopefully) I’m going to mostly keep out of this as I don’t really want an active part in any conversation on whom can take whom.
I know at least two issues are already out in America. Both sold out too.
So erm… Good luck finding it. You’ll probably have better luck then me though. Also the place I was getting it online has stopped releasing it because its been licenced and have dissapeared shrugs So I can’t help you.
Ah no, so it hasn’t. That’s weird, last time I checked it they said they had sold out, now apprently it was never published because of problems. Ho Hum. Well slap my mouth and call me Jeffery.
Ah well, I’ve pre-ordered the first two. Going to get 'em sometime Late July, least this way I’ll defiantly get them, as ComicsOne stuff seems to rarely come out over here. has not managed to get all of any Kung-fu comic series
My favorite Kung-Ku comic so far has been Story of Tao, but that was my first so it was all new then and awsome. After that I’m fond of Crouching Tiger - Hidden Dragon and The Legendary Couple. Everytime you read these things they always make you think you’ve missed out on a previous comic. shrugs
Things I’m looking forward to seeing in SVC:Choas again:
Iori Vs the red haired Samurai whos name I always forget. The guy who does FightersGeneration is really fond of him. Begins with a G.
Guile (and almost everyone else) taking On Geese. I remember I was fond of that fight, and how it ended… Not the alien interupting one though.
Violent Ken on the warpath. As I said, I liked Kens part in this story.
