It’ll mos def come out in EU…I live in Belgium and the website of a famous game shop here has it on 31/07/2009. I think it’ll come out earlier though, but it’ll certainly see daylight in Europe. :woot:
Well I emailed Ignition Ent (UK) a few questions regarding their European branch, the issues with releases and why KOFXII isn’t down on alot of sites especially in the UK. Hopefully I will get a reply within a few days and will post their responce.
Hope so…can’t wait for it. Around the end of july I’ll be seeing a friend in London. And I’ve heard the arcades are pretty much alive in the UK, so I’ll be checking out Tekken 6 BR and KOF XII to eas my appetite.
I fixed your quote for you. The UK scene is London and London only. Arcade wise especially.
UPDATE! After 3 days my email finally got a responce. Regarding KOFXII they’re basically saying it’s coming out ok and expect MORE news during E3 etc etc. All bold parts are their response to my questions
*3. Speaking of sites not knowing releases, my final question points to King of Fighters XII for PS3/360. For a game that is (or was… who knows?) getting a worldwide release in July, why is it that no site in the European sector knows anything about it or EVEN lists the title? There is no mention of the game at all. No TBC, no listing. Period.
This is coming, magazine/online coverage of the game in the UK/Europe has been very positive, and the distributors we have in each area will be doing their part very soon*
Way to not answer your question, whoever wrote that should consider a career in politics
hey everyone im new to importing and i really want to import blaz blue and kof xii. i live in the uk and want to import them from play asia or sumwhere, but i was wondering if i import on saying no region protection does that mean i can play it online? if not then i wont import thanks .
Play-Asia is out of the question as they refuse to ship Sony products to Europe because of the case that got liksang.com closed. Best bet is to see if any UK based shop is importing or getting it from a site like http://www.videogamesplus.ca/ (which is rated highly to me by friends who have bought on more than one occassion).
As for KOFXII, importing might not be required as it’s apparently coming out here but depends on how patient you are on the updates/news. Still waiting on Igntion to tell our stores what’s going on basically.
According to a trustworthy store the release date for kof 12 is 28/8 in sweden dont know about the rest of europe. Its a pain in the ass they cant release games in europe about the same time as in the us!
