It seems that breaks, electro and even IDM are bringing the rave scene around again. Things are really shaping up musically, but unfortunately, it’s become a corporation. I want to check the scene in Colorado sometime.
TF is based in SoCal. They just reopened “The Ranch”, and are bringing around lots of old school DJ’s. Tickets are usually between $5 - $25, and dress code is sometimes enforced (to match the theme of the rave). Really cool stuff.
I was a little kid playing in SHGL every Saturday. Beating up scrubs, yet getting my ass folded up and handed to me by the hardcore street fighters. I’d spend hours in there, and even sometimes have dreams of playing there.
