There’s already an option to turn him off in the arcade version. I’m sure they’ll do the same in the home version.

Also, I know it’s a really basic quote, but I love it when a player is low on health and he says “It’s not over til it’s over”, that sets the mood. :tup:
havent heard SF4 announcer yet, but i would have loved Lenne Hardt in SF4… i just read she did the voice acting for VF4 and bunch of other games apparently.
she always gets me HYPE when she does PRIDE announcing.

Lenne Hardt has been doing Anna Williams’ Tekken voice for the past four years. (ye olde wikipedier)
I had no idea who she was until now. Apparently she does a lot of video game work, but interestingly she “also performs as a theatre actor and comedian.” In other words, regarding the whole sounding batshit ridiculous, she’s probably in on her own joke. I know I would be having fun with myself if some Japanese company wanted to pay me just for my screaming.
I swear the announcer goes insane and yells “THIS IS MHAR-VAL BABY! one on one…ST STYLE!”. And if you win with an ultra, he says “OH MAH GAAAAAAWD, JUSSSSSSSSSSTIN WOOOOOOOOOONG”

the only good thing that leaves his mouth is when he shouts “FIGHT”.
I think the announcer is hilarious… I don’t mind him saying random shit during the match at all.
This guy is sweet. I wish I had him to chill with so he could just blurt out random cool stuff in my everyday life.
