So I’m watching demon slayer and it has a lot of issues I have with a lot of modern “must watch” anime’s.
Really well animated, cool character designs, unique world building but ultimately incredibly fucking boring characters and events that happen in the world.
I’m almost 10 episodes deep and I’m still waiting for something interesting to happen. A medium shouldn’t constantly make me question if anything is ever going to happen. It should make me excited about what going to happen or curious about what happens next. I don’t get that for Demon Slayer. Just boredom

Episode 15 is when that arc starts.
Eps 19 is when the show blew up and started trending from all that shiznitz. Eps 15 is when the arc start and Eps 17 is that first oh shit moment before it gets overshadowed 2 eps later lol.
But Stu’s already 10 eps in, and has already met Michael Jackson and they’ve just finished the fight at nurse’s place with the two ball and arrow demons. If he keeps watching, guess they’ll introduce Zenitsu and Inosuke in the next two eps which could open him more as they complete Tanjiro’s party. Even though the fights get more hype and more high stakes, Tanjiro and Nezuko won’t change but they’ll introduce more characters and villains which might address his concerns.

Finally getting my “man cave” situated following the move. I came across old DVDs of Macross Plus. I own both versions of the anime, but I am missing the disc for the first two episodes. Anyone know if there are plans to release a Blu-ray?

There is a Blu Ray in Japan but I think Macross Plus is now in the license hell landscape along with the rest of the franchise due to Harmony Gold and Tatsunoko bullshit.

I read the manga for like 80 chapters and I do plan to continue but I was really surprised based purely on what I read that it got sooo popular. I think ufotable really is a big factor in it’s popularity honestly.

The fantastic presentation is what elevates the show from mediocrity. If it was pure sex for the eyes it would have been forgettable.
