I started watching Megalo Box. It’s as amazing as a lot of people say it is. I absolutely love the show’s OST. I haven’t enjoyed an anime soundtrack this much since Panty and Stocking. The music reminds me a lot of the type of music that was in Samurai Champloo. Great Track #1 is fire for a short catchy song. The main theme sounds like an Eminem produced banger. I need to buy this OST.

I’m so sad megalobox is ending in a few days. It’s been a wild ride.
It’s kinda linear with the narrative since they based it on Ashita no Joe which is a big influence on George Morikawa’s Hajime no Ippo. Has some really inspiring parts and some tragic ones, pretty old too.
Hinamatsuri anime is decent, but I don’t like the fact that they focus too much on the girls and not enough on Nitta and the Yakuza, unlike the manga. If you just watch it, it’s fine. Read the manga and watch it afterwards? Meh. Still decent overall.
That’s a shame. I haven’t seen the show but I know the manga is godlike at least lol
For whatever reason I thought megalobox was 12 episodes not 13. I’m so excited for the finale now. It’s going to be amazing.

Just started watching Hunter x Hunter, on episode 12 and oh my god do I fucking hate this.
These characters are exactly what an edgelord teenager would write. There is absolutely zero reason that Gon should be as strong as he is and yet he is portrayed to be straight up better at nearly everything that FAR more experienced, GROWN ASS ADULTS TRAIN AT. Little bitch twig Kurapika face-slamming a dude 5 times his size and being all “I’ll kill you with my bare hands.” Killua pulling a grown man’s heart out and going back to his team mates like “Huh? What’s wrong?” like that shit is totally normal. Fuccccckkk I want to punch this show right in it’s stupid fucking face.

I just got done watching this on my break and I gotta concur. It’s really good.

Franxx was awful. Normally I’d drop shows fairly early on if I don’t like them or whatever, but there was a morbid curiosity as to where it’d go, and…fuck. Couldn’t stand the characters and all the melodrama, the emotional moments were eye-rolling, and though I had a slight interest in the world and its world-building, that wound up unsatisfying too. The ending made me feel hollow with the time skipping too. So fucking dumb.
Anyways, the important question we all must ask ourselves is how big were 02 Apus’s boobs.

Blew through the first 5 episodes of FLCL Progressive. I like it. Episode 6 will be the clincher tho pn how much i like the series over all. I cant figure out Harukos motives or goals. She has what she wanted in series 1 so not really sure qhat shes doin on Earth again. I feel the first series had more nuance to it then this one does but i still dig it.
