It’s a continuation of the old series. So you are kinda jumping right in the middle. But it’s pretty easy to figure follow.

To add to this: despite it being a continuation it doesn’t really alienate you in anyway, imo. The way the arc is presented, fleshed out and how they (re)introduce characters from the previous arc is pretty seamless and they explain their relevance very quickly. They give you their general backstory within those few moments or through dialogue with the other characters.

Just so you know, Netflix doesn’t create any anime, but there are a few series it has funded or premiered on it’s service. But even anime that aired in Japan normally it will call a “Netflix original” sometimes.

Yeah. “Netflix exclusive” would be more accurate but I get why they go with “original”. Makes it seem much more important and special.

^^ Ok that confuses the hell outta me everytime they say a show like Baki is a, “Netflix Original series”. WTF.
I knew Netflix didn’t create Baki obviously but, i was under the impression netflix at least helped fund this new series creation or distribution or something.
Edit: And this “Netflix Original Series” crap also got them into hot water recently with Evangelion. They really make it sound like they made these shows when they word it like that.

Not sure how many of y’all been watching the new season of Symphogear but when I first saw Vanessa, I was impressed with the size of her “ballistics”. And then episode four happened.
Her barrels get cut off or something?

Discotek media had a panel at Otakon and revealed that the new City Hunter film(2019) will be coming to Bluray next year. The TV series will also be coming to bluray (Japan got the first season on bluray a few months ago)

Episode 3 give us the elf loli in the club dress so it all evens out. Even if the episode was rushed. Episode 4 set things back on track.
