I can’t recommend Megalox box enough. It’s easily one of my favorite anime’s I’ve seen in recent memory. If not one of my favorite anime’s ever.
It’s not exactly cyber punk but it does take place in a dystopian future-esque setting where the main form of entertainment is called “Megalo Boxing” which is basically just traditional boxing but the fighters wear “gears” on their arms to enhance their punching powers, heightening the danger of the sport.
It follows a man that goes by “Junk Dog” and his journey to fight a megaloboxer who showed Junk Dog just how big the world of Megalo box is after a fateful encounter.
Though it does sound action driven it really isn’t. It’s much more character driven. Though “Junk dog” is indeed the main character you see The story unfold through various people. You find out why they fight, and how they got into Megalo boxing in the first place. A lot of the revelations are very dark.
It’s a quick little diddy though. 13 episodes. So you can plow through it in a day if you really wanted to.
It also has an absolute banger of an OST. One of the best in recent memory. Very hip-hop influenced.
Fate Zero may’ve had me spill a a few tear on a couple of the scenes. But Heaven’s Feel looks to be building up to the same level from what I’ve seen. There’s been a few heavy and gut wrenching scenes so far, but nothing to make me break down yet lol.
Sadly missed out on the viewing here due to some RL stuff. Friend who is a bug Fate fan went and said it was good. Weirdly enough she rates things on a cat scale so yeah her rating on it is weird. Either way finally saw the first movie and man sheesh does Lancer ever get a win?
A fan petition up wanting to see a sequel to Alita Battle Angel!
Not surprising. That’s what happens when you sink ton of hardwork, passion, and Heart into a movie+James f’in Cameron! You end up with a piece of Cinematic GOLD that the people Love!

All these cats remind me, My roommate is a Cat is a truly enjoyable show and fine so far for watching with young kids without having to worry about surprise violence or fan service.
