Check out Unlimited Blade Works on Netflix, once done with that watch Fate/Zero. Then Heavens Feel.
I dunno about any of the other Fate shows like Prisma Illya, or Apocrypha tho.

Most of the Fate series are alternate continuity side projects. Unlimited Blade Works is the easiest current jumping in and out point. Fate Zero, which is a prequel and a great point to jump into provided you want to keep going as it ends setting up the rest. The current movie trilogy is an alternative take on Unlimited Blade Works but with focus shifting to different characters.
There is a anime from a few years back which is not recommended as it is average where as everything since are usually action showcases. Or really odd twists on the settings.

I agree there are story bits that are in Zero that will leave you feeling a type of way if watch it first but don’t get touched on in Unlimited Blade Works at all. Also the stakes are not equal nor are they shown as such.

Zero first or UBW first is fine imo.
Both have spoilers for one another so theres really no way around it.
UFOtable made sure to adapt UBW so it’d flow on naturally and build off of Zero anyway (even with the original source order being UBW then Zero).
I’ll say I went in totally blind to fate, ubw was my first and ubw still has stuck out. I didn’t know it was a game or f I don’t know what the classes were about. My Uber weeb coworker had to explain all the extra stuff later. But it didn’t take away my enjoyment at all not knowing.

UBW and Fate Zero work perfectly fine as self contained stories.
Fate Zero makes it more clear what the whole grail war premise is about at the start. But its fine eitherway, just pick one and go. It wont matter as much in the end imo.

While true i thought UBW was the better show with cooler twists so going into it as blind as possible is the better choice between the two.
Imo of course. You can’t really lose either way, I’m just glad I watched UBW first.
Fate Kaleid, Carnival Phatasm, Emiya Cooking top 3 best Fate show. Don’t at me.
