I just watched half of Wolf Children. It has a bittersweet flavor to me. I’ll have to continue tomorrow evening.

Show is doing a great job at keeping me on the edge of my seat. I disliked every single character in steins gate other than quiet glasses girl. That’s not even hyperbole. Every. Single. One. I somehow still enjoyed it enough to finish it, the story was at least pretty good.<div><br></div><div>Downloading dat furry wolf movie along with the new walking dead ep. a perfect combination for tomorrow morning!</div>
I will probably watch more of steins;gate on a slow season, it didn’t look all that interesting to me but I keep hearing good things about it.

There’s a succinct turning point where shit just shifts into a whole different gear and takes off. Everything before that is just character building and them dicking around, trying to lure you into a false sense of lull. I can see how people can get bored during the 1st half though. <br><br>EDIT:<br>Wolf Children is a kind of bittersweet now that someone mentioned it. It pulls on you’re emotions more akin to Girl who Leapt Through Time than Summer Wars. <br>

<br>I think the reason that the public at large still dislikes Gunvarrel is due to the incident involving the murders of the personnel at the animation company, specifically Kona’s mother finding out of the plan for the destruction of humanity and making the news about it somewhat public through the last episode of the anime. When things went down, family of the people who were killed probably wanted an explanation why things happened and Kona’s mother (who had found out about stuff) was probably made to look like a scapegoat, the stigma of which had carried over to Kona as she grew up. The Committee of 300 probably wanted to make an example of her, besides cover up the event, meaning anyone who got close/found stuff out was killed (Kona’s mother, the animation studio, Maguyan). The ‘propaganda’ of the info in the Kimijima Reports could also be a factor as well, since it was made available to the public via Kai’s actions.<br><br>That’s what I think anyway. Probably have to go back and re-watch stuff later on when the anime is complete to fully get a sense of things.<br>Things will probably get explained in full/detail in the last few episodes (hopefully) now that Kimijima has appeared.<br>

Fuck man, Kiromaru is kinda cool, but it doesn’t seem like he can be trusted either. That’s the vibes I’m kind of getting. 
Not sure what his motives are. Is he planning to double cross the group in exchange that Squeeler doesn’t kill him or something? He seemed the type to be prideful and rather die than submit to a scumbag like Squeeler, but his character isn’t that fleshed out so who knows. 
Fuck man I cannot wait until next episode. Arggggggg. Wait is gonna kill me. Who knows what kind of fucked up shit they’re going to find in Tokyo?!
