Anywho, Psycho Pass is a dystopian story so naturally the whole point of the story is to show you how utterly F’d up the system happens to be. Wheather the show will explore anything deeper we’ll see but at the moment you’re looking at the wrong things to nitpick.
I will admit though that there are some very obvious problems with Psycho Pass’s writing in general(Akane’s whole ordeal despite the fact that she clearly showed that she valued human life over the system in the first fucking episode, Yayoi’s entire exposition episode and the Dominator’s themselves are so insanely inefficient they would be better off using fucking muskets to deal with situations. The damn thing can’t even distinguish between a hostage and kidnapper)
Episode 16 is suppose to be Gen’s favorite episode so who we’ll see what the big reveal is.
Reminds me of an incident in America where a homeless guy saves a woman from getting mugged, is stabbed in the process, and proceeds to bleed out on the sidewalk on a busy street. He was laying there dead for a day or two before someone realized he was actually dead.

Jormungand sound track is pretty solid. Nice variety of tracks, some smooth jazz, dubstep, and that sweet ass french rap song that was the only reason i wanted it.

anybody hear about the next gundam series? its supposed to be a retelling of the Original Gundam or some shit?
Pretty much. There are a few changes, but it’s mostly the same story as 0079. I guess they’re playing it safe after AGE flopped.
God fuckign dammit, yay more UC circle jerking. AGE flopping totally had everythign to do with t being different and not just bad.
If you want to complain about the UC circlejerk, take it up with Japan. UC merchandise dominates Bandai’s sales. Why wouldn’t they milk UC more to recoup from AGE?
*[details=Spoiler] She did try but her display was pathetic because as noted during the “hunting episodes” shotguns, rifles and handguns are antiquated in the world and probably don’t even get referenced. Chances are when she was in training to become a detective they don’t show her how to use those “old world” weapons because the only weapon she would ever need is her [S]Law Giver[/S] Dominator. It fits with the theme of the show that the Sybil system controls pretty much all faucets of peoples lives weather it’s telling them when to sleep, what job they should have for a living under the guise that by listening to the system you’ll be truly happy that way. Even though we’ve seen countless times how flawed the system the police (government?) continue to use facetious tactics to continue the facade that everything is placid in their society and not break the faith in Sybil. *
Heck the show has even highlighted the undercurrent of people in hospital basically comatose because of “too much tranquility”. *The system, it’s evaluation metrics, and the systems theoretical base has not only been shown as flawed but also questioned multiple times. I’m pretty sure we’re going to get more of a look behind the curtain of Sybil, how it came into power and who was responsible for it’s creation. *[/details]

It wasn’t cancelled, it was played until it’s conclusion, then played again, and again, and again.
Paranoia Agent was a solid series but nothing I would rave about. It does make me wish that Susumu Hirasawa composed more soundtracks for animes though. lol
In regards to the Gundam dicsussion:
I don’t really care what era they place Gundam in provided the series is actually good. There’s really nothing wrong with UC and it has a lot of solid Gundam series within that time line.
I couldn’t stick with AGE because it was pretty clear that the series was targeting a much younger demographic than the previous Gundams.

i can see that as a good reason, but personally im tired of it. gundam seed had amazing sales too, they should make more of that. they need to rebound from the disaster that is destiny anyways.
