im tired of all these modern anime where all the characters look like a 12 or 13 years old. How long are they gonna drag out this shit. They need to go back to the 90s style where all characters are grown adult.

There’s the 1980s anime “City Hunter,” whose main character, Ryo Saeba, is in his early 30s.

Yep, ive seen that one, a pretty decent movie. There were shit tons of movies/series with main adult characters and they were great. Ninja Scrolls, Blood Reign: curse of the Yoma, Vampire Hunter D, Fist of Northstar, Berserk, Cyber City Eodes, ect…

fate zero mostly has adults, but if you didnt watch fate/stay night it might be a little confusing, though the action and fights are good. Fate zeros Rider character was my fav, best parts when he was talking about bill clinton, and pants

Nah, i’ll pass on that one, i skimmed through it and it didnt catch me, also im not really into the artstyle of today anime unless the story and animation made up for it . I like old school artstyle and gory stuffs.

ep 1 was long and dull, but ep 2 and so on makes up for it. There is plenty of blood and people getting killed in Fate Zero

So, I’m only 4 minutes into Walkure Romance, but it is pretty promising. I mean, 1. Its got cute girls as knights, which basically means their school uniforms have epaulettes. 2. There are multiple panty shots in the intro. 3. The h-mangas are practically writing themselves, I mean, drill haired blond jousting? That just screams “please defeat me in battle and sexually humiliate me with a lance”.

Which means its pretty much guaranteed to be great.

See, an anime series based on a fighting game, is pretty much guaranteed to disappoint, since people want fast paced action, which is expensive and hard to do every episode, and a plot that makes sense, which fighting games rarely have.

When an anime series is based on H games, people want perversion, which is cheap and easy to do, and a story that makes sense, which is one that they have seen a hundred times already (All the girls like him, but he has some sort of self doubt that holds him back, and he won’t choose any of them). Add in some meticulously detailed nipples in the blu ray and everybody is happy.

City Hunter wasn’t a movie. It’s a fucking classic of a series that spanned several seasons, movies, and oav’s. The casual audience will mostly know it for the Jackie Chan movie though. City Hunter also got a sequel manga, which was adapted to an anime later on, called Angel Heart.

Jesus, huge nostalgia trip with Blurry Eyes and the anime they did it for - DNA^2. Hyde/L’arc en Ciel can be hit or miss but a lot of their hits are really good. Blurry Eyes, Drivers High, Ready Steady Go, Season’s Call (Hyde song), pretty much all of the Smile album, etc…

Hyde also assembled a ridiculous cast of Japanese musical talent for a Halloween themed band called Halloween Junky Orchestra.

I started watching Maken Ki, and it is pretty great. If you took a sip of alcohol every time there was a panty shot, you’d die before an episode was half over. The thing was, it made me wonder (briefly), why didn’t I watch this earlier. And the reason is, I finally came across a complete bluray torrent. This show came out in 2011. That is a long ass time. I feel deprived. I get sad when I think about how I could have enriched my life earlier.
So please, I urge you, don’t let life pass you by. Just go for it.

BB anime was pretty much what I expected. The source material isn’t good enough to make the story something great, but the anime hasn’t made it any worse from what I’ve seen. The fight scenes are short and the quality is somewhat average, but I’m satisfied enough to keep watching.

It’s pretty much just for the fans. This would probably be better if they just made Ragna an unwitting harem protagonist that keeps getting into risque situations while trying to do whatever it is he’s doing there. I could listen to Rachel narrate all day.
