Spoiler
Kassim, now transformed into a black djinn, begins to go on a rampage and kills some soldiers in the process. The black djinn then targets the Balbadd royals, Ahbmad and Sahbmad, and as he charges them, Morgiana brings it down with a jump kick. Alibaba is reluctant to attack the black djinn but he manages to damage it by severing one on it’s arms. As Morgiana urges Alibaba to attack, the black djinn begins to regenerate it’s lost limb and begins to grow larger due to the absorption of dark rukh. Morgiana tries her luck against the rejuvenated djinn, but she is tossed aside as the djinn wields a gravity based power (channeling FF8 Diablos). Meanwhile, the Arms Dealer looks on from afar as the event unfolds before him.
The black djinn begins to charge up a large-scale gravity-based attack and Sinbad interrupts it by leaping onto it’s neck and initiating an attack that pierces it’s flesh and allows the Sindrian King to discern it’s (Kassim’s) purpose - revolution by means of overthrowing the monarchy. Sinbad tells Alibaba to attack and Alibaba charges forward with Amon’s sword, but the attack is repelled and unable to reach the black djinn. Hesitation prevents Alibaba from following through as he envisions Kassim existing somewhere within the black djinn. After Sinbad is thrown off by the black djinn, Alibaba tries to focus his magoi but he is unable to channel more energy into the sword, where he was able to strengthen his Djinn Equip for a brief moment. The palace guards/soldiers, led by Barkak and ordered by Sahbmad, attempt to fight against the black djinn but are easily dispersed, though they continue to press the attack. Alibaba then attempts an attack on the black djinn as well, but his attack is thwarted by the sudden appearance of Judal, who has recovered. Elsewhere in the streets, Jafar and Masrur have their hands full dealing with the riots, but they, along with others, take notice of a form that is flying to the palace that is enshrouded in dark rukh.
The Arms Dealer tells Judal about the black djinn and tells the Magi to take control of it and when Judal does, the black djinn grows even larger in size. Judal even stops Sinbad from interfering by restraining him with some ice shards and upon the Arms Dealer’s suggestion, Judal turns his attention toward Alibaba in an effort to eliminate him because of his status as a possible threat, but Morgiana acts in helping Alibaba to avoid/evade the attack’s made by Judal’s djinn. Alibaba asks Morgiana for some assistance to launch an attack against Judal, but Morgiana is a bit reluctant to oblige and thinks Alibaba is acting rashly, though she grants his request. However, it is in vain as Judal easily knocks down Alibaba before he even gets close. Judal then infuses an large ice shard with dark rukh and has the black djinn wield it like a sword and attacks Alibaba with it. Alibaba goes to block it but Amon’s sword shatters, breaking the upper part of the blade off. Though Alibaba tries to rally against Judal with repeated attacks, they are unsuccessful as his magoi supply is nearly exhausted. Just as Judal attempts to finish off Alibaba, a flash of light hits the ground between them and Aladdin appears.
Judal challenges Aladdin to battle with his new djinn, but Aladdin says that Ugo will not be part of the battle, surprising everyone. Aladdin begins to conjure up some energy and a white spirit form of Ugo appears to disperse the energy outward. Both Judal and the Arms Dealer shrug off the young Magi’s efforts, saying that it’s only some heat magic of no importance. However, Sinbad takes notice of Aladdin’s new-found usage of ‘magic’ as he is freed from the ice. Even more surprising is Aladdin saying that it’s not enough and he turns to Alibaba and asks him to lend him his strength, but Alibaba says that his magoi is exhausted and his sword broken. Aladdin reminds Alibaba of his efforts - instilling hope in the citizens of Balbadd for a new future with freedom and peace. Aladdin begins to summon light rukh to him and as it accumulates around the young Magi, Judal appears to be unimpressed, but the Arms Dealer notices something different this time around and possibly acknowledges that Aladdin may possess Solomon’s Wisdom.

Finally, Hosaka creates a magnificent plate, a vessel that is worthy enough to serve his food to Haruka. While waxing poetic about the plate, and it’s purpose, to Maki and Atsuko, the plate breaks as the pair looks it over and they struggle to come up with an explanation (and replacement) for the unknowing Hosaka. A tea kettle seems to remedy the situation, with Hosaka none the wiser, but Hayami is the one to bring Hosaka back to reality regarding the fate of the plate.
