Some shows you can just tell from one episode that you’re gonna be in for a good ride no matter what. Kill la Kill is one of those shows.
Shows that try to take itself more seriously like SAO are more prone to falling flat on their faces. Just look at all the amount of ridiculous shit Panty and Stocking, Inferno Cop and Gurren Lagann got away with because they just ooze so much damn style.
I just found out about pretty face, looks like a fun series even though it last just 6 volumes makes me want to read it even more
Monogatari 14 was pretty great.

Nadeko popping off at the teacher, ranting about her classmates, and flipping tables in the process was great. I think that’s the first time I heard an angry Kana Hanazawa. I used to think she was a one trick pony but she’s a pretty good VA.
