just finished itā¦hmm i can see why you would get bored of it after ep3. but it picks back up a few episodes later. I liked it overall, its not that bad. i hope there is a season 2.
how can a picture like this not induce rage into you? i didnt even bother to watch it, so i have no room to talk, but upon seeing that picture and reading the description, i wanted no parts of it.
lol, i know i know. thing is i trust my instincts. its wierd i can get a feel for whether i like an anime by looking at the cover poster and reading the description. only a couple times have i been blown away by my preconception of an anime. the most notable being Chihayfuru, i thought it would be some shoujo girly romance anime, shit ended being godlike as fuck.
Well, thereās nothing really like HxH, but I guess you could say that Full Metal Alchemist (either series) is a bit similar, in that both HxH and FMA are shonen-ish series that actually deal with the consequences and trauma of the violence and tragedies they contain.
Speaking of FMA, is Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos really that bad? I was going to pick it up the other day, but CoS overshadows the hell outta it.
Stella continues to be the most manly show this season. Yamato looking like she wants to give into the dark hadou and just spend the rest of eternity bodying niggas.
I think itās pretty obvious that Free! appeals to fujoshi, but still tries to have content worth watching for male anime fans as well. Gay? No. My cup of tea? Not really either.
[details=Spoiler]Couldnāt help but lol when the creators decided to highlight Petraās body being dumped, and all before that whole scene with her dad
Free! was cool for the first couple episodes or so because it was about swimming. Now, itās not about swimming anymore so that show isnāt worth watching. I donāt really understand the characters either.
Attack on Titan ep 22:
I saw dat Levi tech roll, daaannnnggg. Levi should be a character in Oboro Muramasa.
Itās okay and itās nowhere near as bad as CoS.
Iāve said this before but Free! is about the character development and the competitive swimming is just a plot device. I donāt think itās necessarily a bad thing with how the show turned out but I had different expectations going into the show. At the very least it didnāt turn out to be another slice of life show.
In any case, the next KyoAni show seems to deviate greatly from everything theyāve been doing recently.
